Powerball Spending Amounts - Jan 9 2015 Drawing
Regular 5 lines and additional 10 EP just because the jackpot was so high. To all that say it only takes one, you are correct. We did a one-time Lottery Pool @ work with 50 people. Guess how much we won out of 100 tickets? $8.00. EIGHT DOLLARS TOTAL / 50 !! ha ha. Thank goodness that one only cost me $4. Had to at least try. I didn't want to be the person left at work while they were cashing in!

A spin on Gaps
So to further explain how to reduce the pool of remaining combinations from which to do a quick pick you could remove the Lettered Gaps that: 1) have appeared in the past N drawings (N based on whatever appears statistically better to use with a Letter Gap repeating) 2) have the least amount in their group. AAAA, AAAB, AABA, ABAA, BAAA, AABB, ABAB, BBAA, BBAA. Like I said, I will try to get my lap tap up and running and print out a report of stats... I hope people here w

The largest lottery jackpot in the world is: NOT in the USA
Great, the prize pool is all prizes combined. The top prize of El Gordo is not 2,3bil, its 4M that many, many people share. http://www.christmaslottery.co/spanish-lotto-prizes.html

Question Regarding The Odds of The Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle
Here's something else I'm curious about regarding the raffle. Can a player win a prize twice with the same ticket number? I would think that once ticket number, 00123456 had won a prize, it would no longer be eligible to win another one, ie that it would be removed from the prize pool of 500,000 possible winners. Anybody know? And... are the first 4 numbers drawn (and I'm using that term loosely) the top prize winners? I guess there's a lot I don't know about the raffle! G5

Question Regarding The Odds of The Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle
Thank you. Your explanation made perfect sense to me. That said, I'm definitely not going to try to explain to the guys in my pool why it's so. See, we're a bunch of cranky old curmudgeons, and we'll throw down in a heart beat. Matter of fact I though that's exactly what was going to happen today when the argument began!! I can see the headline in the local newspaper now; Old Fools Brawl at IBM Plant! Lotto argument causes punches to fly!

If you won a major multi-million dollar jackpot...
Interesting information. Thinking a house of 5,000 to 6,000 sq. ft. would be fine and no I do not need that much. Most of the housekeeping would be done by me altho I would love for someone to come in once a week to help with floors and dusting, I hate dusting. And a chef ...... hmm have to think about that one, maybe someone can cook low calorie lunches a couple of times a week, cook in my kitchen or have them delivered? Now I certainly want acreage and nice grounds with the pool which will
