SC Lottery offers refunds for some multi-draw tickets
Understanding that people are unhappy over the changes. But, the bottom line is that sales...sales...drive the jackpots. If sales are so low that they are unable to support the $40 million jackpot, and to keep increasing the jackpot each roll by $10 million, they did the only thing they could do. They can't keep bleeding. They are a business, not a charity. And those jackpot amounts are the annuity amounts, not the cash amounts.
While I stopped playing, it's because I'm not working. But even

Powerball to lower jackpot starting point and increases due to plunge in sales
cash value is (I assume) based on cash on hand .
The annuity value (aka the jackpot ) is what they can buy with the cash value.
My records seem to indicate that the cash value is actually increasing (last cycle (when the jackpot got above $160m) next is worth $171m, with a cash value of $116.2m...
$116.2m is less than the current ($160m jackpot) cash value of $122.4m.

Rework the Lower Tier Prizes for MM & PB.
PB won, never broke $400 Million Annuity, took 24 rollovers to do it... I'm underwhelmed.
Our advice, Really, we need a lower tier rework to get back the excitement.
More Money to the People.
Good Luck

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Great observation, Dracos, I see that same thing now for the $10 Holiday. That's a weird inconsistency in the data. My initial hunch is that maybe the claimant hasn't chosen between the cash or annuity option yet but has presented a valid winner, so the Lotto just list processing in the meantime??...(just a guess...I truly have no idea)... But either way if that was the case they need to update/decrement the available prizes from 2 remaining to 1 remaining.
Also totally agree on the whole que

Third $1 million lottery prize goes unclaimed in Michigan this year
Thanks to www.usamega.com for listing Michigan State tax at 4.25% in the Jackpot Analysis.
Add 4.25% + 37% Federal rate = 41.25% total taxes on an annuity. On a Lump Sum the prize will be reduced some more.
Before deductions and taxes. $1,000,000.00 = 20 years X $50,000.00 per year.
That little piece of paper has claimed $1.6 Billion dollars American. Players! Wake up.

Idaho Lottery's newest draw game has first drawing tonight
I think that it's done in proportion to the population therefore in proportion to the amount of players. This is equivalent to larger bordering states having a 5 ball Lotto draw that starts at $1 mil. (annuity) and grows by $100k each drawing. Therefore being a less populated state it's starting at $250k. So essentially the same as larger states with a state lotto simply starting at $250k in proportion to the states population.
It seems like it's in between a pick 5 and a state lotto gam

Blind trust to stay anonymous
Besides Jason Kurland the lottery lawyer out of Long Island, NY there is a lawyer near Chicago, IL
His name is Andrew Stoltman. Even though he recommends the Annuity he did represent the winner from New Berlin, Wisconsin. Who chose the Lump Sum. The winner is named Manuel Franco a 24-year-old who is now set for life.
