You've got to put it all in perspective. I think the 6/59 will stay around for a while, at least 2008...that's only three years. I like to consider the 6/59 a challenge, not an impossible obstacle. Right now it's a much better jackpot deal than Mega Millions. I play for the jackpot, not the smaller prizes, so I couldn't care less the payout percentages on match 3/4/5. Anything can happen jackpot-wise. Badger 5 could hit a million dollars, or Mega Millions can be won 12 draws in a row. But it's really a matter of probability of wether that can actually happen. The probability of Powerball hitting half a billion is pretty slim to begin with.
