YP, Thanks.
Now I have to figure out if I want to tell the guys in the pool I run at work about it.
Twenty bucks is a lot to ask from them. Maybe I'll wait and ask them if they'd like to play the January 2016 raffle. Even if I don't ask them, I'll probably buy a few tickets for myself for The Halloween raffle. Because my wife's job takes her over to PA about once a month, I don't have to make a special trip over there. The next time she's in PA I'll probably have her pick up a couple of t

I always thought a site wide wheel, for anyone who cars to enter a set of numbers would be cool for any lotto related site. my idea was actually based on when i dreamed of having a free lotto site, and plan was to give entries into the pool as prizes. and they wouldnt all be entered until the whole wheel was covered. but then i decided free lotto sites sucked, and there was prob not enough earnings in it. they all seemed to go broke and never give out their prizes.
but i digressed. how man

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Thanks for doing the calculations for us! We'd used to have someone do it for us couple of years ago.
The CA Lottery reports 80% instead of the 81.4% you've calculated since they expect retailers to force the customer to play another $30 Ticket rather than giving back $30 in cash to do what they want. Most retailers here give cash back to the players, and the places with kiosks have to give out cash.
If you negate the TICKET prizes from the pool, they will come up with 80% return (sti

How Random is Random?
I don't believe there will ever be a mathematical formula to produce the winning combination.
Neither do I, like you I think my best hope is to find a system that reduces my odds of having all the winning numbers in a single line. That could be done by reducing the number pool, limiting particular numbers to unique positions in combinations along with other limiting parameters. Right now I'm looking at which numbers followed numbers in previous drawings which has been looked at by others in

NY man claims friend broke deal to split lottery prize, files lawsuit
For there to be a contract all parties must contribute for the benefits of everyone. In a pool when each member contribute money to buy the tickets that condition is met.
Accord to this guy each guy was to buy any amount of tickets he wanted using his own and if either ever hit for a $100K or more they would split it between them. There is no proof that each contributed equally to this venture or anything, as far as is known the only one to buy a ticket was the winner.
If courts allowed p

Who plays more, who loses more?
I agree with stack.
There is no proof that SP'ers play more per person than QP'ers. That's the fatal flaw.
So what if Aunt Mae spend $2 on QP, while Peter Parker spend $8 on SPs?
Batman dropped $50 on QPs, Robin spent $3 on SPs.
Wonder Woman's pool played $500 on QPs paid for with cash and past winning.
Iron Man's pool only afford $200 on SPs.
Do you think if Aunt Mae wins she's worried about Batman's loss?
Do you think she's going to tell Iron Man, I won and you spent 100 t
