Imagine If The Winner of the 1.4B Powerball Never Checked Their Ticket!
How about this scenario....The winning ticket was purchased by a newbie on Saturday after Saturday's drawing cut-off and they thought it was a ticket for Saturday night's drawing, but it was actually a ticket for Wednesday's drawing. When they checked the ticket Saturday night and see it didn't win, they threw it away in the trash.

POWERBALL CREATES WORLD'S FIRST BILLION-DOLLAR JACKPOT
You're ignoring the fact that we're currently already more than 1/3 of the way there, and perhaps you're also forgetting that the odds of a roll on the drawing that brings it to (or past) $2.69 billion aren't part of the probability (though it certainly may affect the number of winners we finally get). If sales for this drawing increase by just 5% we'll see a jump of $442 million and sales of 463 million tickets. Do it 2 more times and the jackpot will roll from $2.275 billion, and a comparat

Does anyone know who won 5 numbers in PA? last drawing
Just curious. The last drawing prior to that was at a gas station in ne phila I am very familiar with. The gas station is right across one of the high schools. Funny thing is two people I know thought I won it and I told them it wasn't me. Like I am going to tell them. Sure.

New Jersey: 12/1 - 12/31/2015
I'm sorry, DHalaby73, I appreciate it but I cannot and will not accept credit for the #356 straight that appeared in last night's Pick3 drawing. The #356 was specifically designed for the Midday Drawing and is good for the next five (5) days in that designation only. I try to approach this thing called winning as if I were submitting my betslips to the lottery retailer. He's not obligated to pay me cash money for betslips clearly marked Midday should those same numbers show up in the Evening Dra

Eddessa_Knight Note Bene: Re-Post from Hosni FROM GAIL HOWARD'S LOTTERY MASTER GUIDE BOOK. TIPS FOR WINNING PICK-10 KENO Basically, pick-10 Keno is a 10-20-80 game in which the player picks 10 numbers from 1 to 80, and the lottery draws 20. New York Lotto
Why? Cant you use 42 million? As for me, I'll be in every drawing until it's won. But not because I plan to run out and buy a ticket for every drawing. My subscription has each drawing covered until next April. Even if the JP hasn't been won by then, I'll renew it in March. G5

HOT LOTTO DRAWING CHEAT CHARGED WITH RIGGING MORE JACKPOTS
If somebody can rig the drawing computer what makes you think they can't make a terminal spit out the numbers they want? It's the security procedures that affect access and manipulation of the lottery's computers that matter. The problem with the Hot Lotto incident isn't that it's possible to write code that affects the drawing. It's that somebody could install that code and that it could then go undetected for more than a month. Even with those problems, the drawing computer was still far mo

ILLINOIS LOTTERY MOVES TO COMPUTERIZED DRAWINGS
The Illinois lottery officials being excited about their lottery switching to computerized drawing from live drawing was badly timed. With the recent failure to get their winners paid. Now, they have player's filing law suits against them. What made them think , the player are really going to be exited about a rng number being pull by a computerized drawing. No one actually see this, you want them to just blindly take your word for it. No, you are about to loss money. The players will play a lot

MUSL security worker who rigged drawing gets 10 years
It was proved beyond a reasonable doubt at his trial that Tipton rigged the computerized drawing using a rootkit he installed on the drawing computer. If it's a fact at least one drawing was rigged, why aren't the people running the game being investigated?

New national lottery with a twist
If I'm understanding it correctly, California would hold its drawing, where each ticket has a 1 in 4,000,000 chance of winning, and Wyoming would hold its drawing, where each ticket has a 1 in 60,000 chance of winning. Then there's the national drawing, where California and Wyoming each have a 1 in 50 chance of having the big winner. So a California ticket's chance of being the big winner is 1 in 4,000,000*50=200,000,000. A Wyoming ticket's chance is 1 in 60,000*50=3,000,000.
