Mega Millions jackpot win or rollover tonight
The voters who voted for rollover have been correct so far. My vote is for me to win it. PB starts over at $40 million Annuity. $24.2 million Cash before taxes. I remind myself that $1,000,000.00 divided by 20 years = $50,000.00 per year for twenty years. I figure that $15.2 million will be what I will get after taxes. That would mean I will end up with $15.2 million divided by 20 years = $762,000.00 per year for the next twenty years. That is if I can stay on budget.

NJ Lottery Pick 6 ticket worth $29.5M sold at liquor store
The upside to this situation is that you can wait it out until the jackpot climbs high enough to bother playing. $29.5 million is worth more than double the $1 ticket price (pre-tax), making this last drawing a strong investment (albeit with a huge amount of variance). This is no different than MM/PB where sales are slow for weeks while the jackpot climbs slowly, then when the jackpot is large enough, sales increase because the game becomes worth playing ($40 million annuity for a $2 bet in a

South Carolina's billion dollar mega millions ticket
Raven, there will be winners of jackpots for years and years to come. We will be inquisitive into their actions and probably ask the same questions, express the same ideas and theories on what they should do or how they should approach collecting. With the lottery jackpot win, we know there are limited things we can do during the collection process based upon the state the winning ticket was sold in. Music was just making a general inquiry into what the winner(s) is/are up to and if they were con

Why doesn't Mega Millions show decimals in their CASH VALUE?
When you go to www.MegaMillions.com it shows the annuity value of the jackpot as well as the cash value. But, they don't show the decimal amount in the cash value. EX: Current jackpot is $155 mil and CV is $89 mil. It is actually $89.2 mil Why not show the .2?

New York man claims other half of $687.8 million Powerball lottery jackpot
The $343 mil was the annuity value of his half of the jackpot. The cash value was about $195 mil before taxes. The $125,396,690 is what he will receive after they take out 24% for IRS and about 12% for NY City and State. He will still have to pay more taxes on April 15, 2019. The difference between what the lottery withholds for Fed, State and City taxes and his actual amount due when he files his tax return.
