$50 - $1000 top prize is Pick 3, not Pick 4. It all depends on how much $$$ you wager, and what type of number [single/doubles/Pick 4 triple] you're wagering on. Small boxed wins, like $200/$400/$800/$1200, can be reinvested playing STRAIGHT, and you don't have to come fresh out of your pocket, every time you play. Millionaires is not the point. Thousandaires is the point. Probably the ideal size for a Pick 4 pool, is 3 - 4 people.

On paper that sounds nice. However I personally play Daily4 (P4), and it is a real bugger to hit that straight despite 1 in 10,000 odds. After taxes (which would have to be paid by me, it would cost too much to have an attorney create a partnership for only $100,000), we each would have about $7500. There are 11 of us. That amount of money is really not enough to do what we want or need. I have considered playing AoN for the pool, but right now that's on the back back burner.

Adam, The only way to make it it's to take action, get together and start analyzing those Lexi digits and play them. The last pool we had AND dealing with 20 filters twice, after 3 months we were off by 3 filters to have the 5/5i with the MM. I know because I was keeping track of everybody selection on an separate Excel files ( just after 3 months ). Here we have to deal with 3 positions per digits x 8 for MM minus the first number which will be 0 or 1 so we can play both to have

Actually last night drawing had an unusual result. I've be tracking the last 172 MegaMillions drawings since the last matrix change and normally none of the winning numbers are among the numbers that have followed the numbers of the last drawing in previous drawings. Usually that group range between 20-35 reducing the number pool to 40-60 numbers which can reduce the odds of matching 5 from 1:17M to 1:5M or less. There were 60 numbers in that group for last night's drawing but only three of

We're working on to ways to get this done. A general equation for computing distributions at any Pick size and Pool size. Running through the calculation on our TI-Nspire CX CAS software. We have to, for now anyway, do this on our TI-Nspire CX CAS software due to precision issues in Excel's handling of long decimal places.
