Lottery scammer rigged more drawings than first thought, records show
The code remained active and undetected for almost a decade
Um wow. These lotteries just suffed a set back they will never recover from.
They have also just lost a lot of money from the upcoming lawsuits.
I wonder how many jackpots were rigged and people did not even know yet still played.
Tipton was sentenced last year to up to 25 years in prison for rigging lotteries in Iowa, Colorado, Wisconsin, Kansas and Oklahoma.
I play the scratch tickets for t

I am CONVINCED only way you WIN BIG if they let you win!
Hmmm, it's very interesting that you'd make such an assertion, psykomo, and I'm actually not sure if this is intended hyperbole or to be taken seriously. For me, though, I take it seriously and I'm here to tell you, Sir, that you're right on the money...literally. Both Eddie and his brother Tommy Tipton are Republicans and were over the security aspects of lottery drawings which were, in fact rigged, so they could win along with their Republican conspirers. Eddie is from Demoines, Iowa and Tommy

$191 million Louisiana Powerball lottery winner claims prize
Lafayette attorney Jean C. Breaux Jr. appeared at Lottery headquarters Tuesday morning with the Powerball ticket worth an estimated $191.1 million and claimed the prize via a Power of Attorney on behalf of his client, a three-member family partnership.
That moment when you hand out your ticket to a stranger to cash it for you... Terrifying. I don't think I can do it. Power of attorney or not.
I guess things are different down in Louisiana (at least, I hope they are, for their

Drawings show pattern
It would be interesting to see results of how many winners versus tickets purchased there were annually when states used ball drawings, and then again after those states switched to computer drawings.
There has just been too many instances of suspicious drawings with computer draws for people to completely trust them. If a lottery draw is done by a computer, it can be fixed to do something they want it to. Whether it's fixed by the lottery or by a player like Tipton, it can be done. And no ma

Iowa Lottery investigation highlights difficult balance between security and profits
For more than a year while he worked at the Brick Street Market in Bondurant, Iowa, Matthew Hinrichs quietly stole lottery tickets, cashing in at least $28,000 in illegitimate prize money, prosecutors say.
When he was finally caught in 2016, Hinrichs pleaded guilty to two felony counts of fraud and was ordered to pay back those winnings, plus nearly $5,000 more.
Lottery officials say their layers of security allowed them to track Hinrichs' activity, providing data that was invaluable to pr

How was that situation any different than in any other store?
It happened in 1991 when a player asked for five $1 tickets and a clerk printed a $5 Lotto America ticket. According the story, the store owner told the clerks to try and sell mistake tickets because if they didn't, the store had to buy them. When and how the ticket was bought was moot to the South Dakota Lottery because for them there was no question who they should pay off: the person who presents the ticket and whose name is o

Do statistical trends exist?
I'm not a big player, I'm a biologist by training, so my knowledge is in that field. When I first started playing PB a few years ago, I tried to find a trend or pattern. And while I did find evidence that some numbers came up with more frequency than others, and some numbers hardly came up at all, in order to make those trends work for me, would require way more money than I'd be willing to invest. The odds were just too high to overcome with limited discretionary funds. And it didn't help that

Man files lawsuit over rigged lottery jackpots
Here's to hoping this lawsuit gets tossed or the award is zero. Tipton may have guaranteed himself a win but he didn't deny a win to anyone else. This guy's chance of hitting the winning numbers was no greater or worse than at any other draw.
If even one non-Titpton associate won even one dollar on any of these drawings, then the claim he had zero chance of winning doesn't hold up.
Had the lawsuit been filed on the grounds that the numbers were NOT randomly generated as they are requ

Strategy for remaining anonymous
The real problem could be because the claimant isn't the person who bought the ticket. Forget what you think you know about bearer instruments. The ticket has a legal owner and the lottery isn't going to knowingly give the prize to somebody else simply because they're the one who walks through the door with the ticket. Unlike somebody who finds or steals the ticket the company representative will be able to answer all of the security questions, but they won't be the person on the security video.

Why are American lotteries rigged?
Ahhh...someone from South Africa referring to me as a black man.
It's becoming very clear now that I am conversing with a racist. (It's ok if you have to look up conversing).
Here's a little tiny clue for you a-hole. I'm actually white. A senior who's been around the block a few times.
As far as rigging MM and PB, and Tipton, you obviously don't know the difference between RNG draws and ball draws.
Each time you post you reveal what you really don't know, but pretend you do.
