Winning ticket for $522 million Mega Millions jackpot sold in California
PB and MM have a business plan , so to speak, that depends on a large number of ticket sales when the jackpot gets to a large number. If you reduce the states that play down to a fraction of what it is today, they will have to change the rules in order to make the same % on each ticket. Here is how to understand why... (for PB, anyway, basically the same thing)... the jackpot starts at $40 million. If the jackpot is not won, it increases by the greater of $10 million, or 32.5% of ticket

Solar Star Lottery
First I want to express a short but sincere note of thanks for your prompt and courteous response adulane. Not certain that my humble reply will full fill the enlightening bill but it is not a 'Apologia' nor am I a shill or speak for for paneagle or any one else for that matter. Having said I am of the opinion that Pete is an honest, non scamming astrology scholar who generously shares his exquisite planetary alignment work projections openly freely without any encumbrances. A PERSONAL

Arizona Lottery pulls second computerized drawing machine over duplicate numbers
According to the Arizona Lottery website these are the Pick 3 drawings that are causing all the commotion. Now if they want to switch to ball drawings, I'm all for it. However, Maryland has ball drawings, and we see this sort of thing all the time and much, much, worse than this. So I don't know what Arizona's problem is. Now IMO, if Arizona is going to start changing their RNG's over something like this, if I played there I would be EXTREMELY concerned about that. Why? Because you can bet yo

What pre-tests do to our game(Pick-3) - a simple simulated(game) random generation test
Hi, I wanted to test/see statistics with and without pre-tests. I created a pick-3 game. I used 3 Random generators that use 3 different seeds(to simulate 3 different ball holder/separate pools) from random.org The random generator is AES key driven non-linear random generator using a math library for Java - uncommon math library). I simulated ball set changes by changing the seeds of all three generators every 720 draws. I also added 5 pre-test draws in it. Here are the statistics sheets

Va. woman wins $1 million while showing friend how to play lottery
By Todd Northrop A Virginia woman won $1 million Tuesday after attempting to show her friend how to play a scratch-off ticket lottery. Merry Thomas took her friend Julie to the Giant Food store on Town and Country Road in Fredericksburg where she showed her how to work the self-serve machine to scan for a winning ticket. Julie's ticket won $12. Merry's ticket won $1 million. I've been freaking out since then! Merry said. Right in front of my eyes, I saw this woman turn into a

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
@ dracos To everyone who likes data on a game i play regularly i thought this may interest you, Hello there! I am certainly hoping when you get the latest IRL report for $2MJ that the prize totals i posted from the 1-4-17 report are much lower...given how many books have been cleared out the past month i will be very suspicious and greatly disappointed if the newest figures are not much lower than what i had from the 1-4-17 report. For those out there wondering how useful the reports real

Unclaimed jackpots from games that ended?
I really can't hold it in any longer, so I'll tell you. You have 3 options: 1. Someone threw it away. Yes I find a lot of winners in the trash. You could probably make a living just driving around going through the trash. 2. It was destroyed by the lottery. 3. It was never sent out. So for all the people up in arms about the 1 or 2 top prizes left for the games closing here you go: This is why it's illegal: To start off the lottery has to legally post the number of p

Massachusetts Lottery considers its own online fantasy sports game
The Massachusetts Lottery is considering developing a daily fantasy sports game as the online competitions have exploded in popularity and faced increased scrutiny about their legality. Michael Sweeney, the lottery's executive director, said exploring options amid such games' legal ambiguity is necessary if state lotteries are to remain viable in a changing gambling landscape. Until such time as it becomes absolutely clear that this is illegal, we have an obligation to really grapple with

Input Playing the Various 6-49 Games
Been a reader here for a long time ... like everyone else, trying for a life changing jackpot on something. Just would like to hear from other people living in states that have a 6-49 game. In PA our 6-49 cost $2.00 but you get three lines or chances to win ... coming out to $0.66 a line cost. I feel it's really the cheapest way to play the lottery in PA, with a shot at a decent jackpot. I'm talking after it builds up to around two million. It's starts at $500,000 and builds slowly with
