If I ever play a STR, it's always backed up by a box. But on the Georgia play slips, if you're in a hurry or whatever and forget to mark either STR, STR-BOX or BOX, the machine prints the ticket STR by default. I usually catch and correct that before I leave the store when it happens, but a few times I got home and found out I had a STR in the stack not backed up by a box. That makes me nervous!

Publix vending machine....one and done. FYI...you can ask the clerk what number the vending machine ticket is on...it's linked to the terminal. ;)

The winning tickets also no? The prize receipts too correct. When the machine prints a ticket out after you win. You have to save both correct? I've wondered about how difficult it is to do that.

I'm guessing these tickets had to be scratch-offs because when a lottery ticket is found a winner, a little Tada jingle can be heard from the machine indicating a winner. I know his because I used to live in Floriduh.

My local WD has a $5 ticket in the window of a $2 Monopoly, I play it every now and then hoping someone fills machine with what is pictured ... no luck so far ;-)

Definitely LUCK in my case a couple of weeks ago. I got this $5 Gold Rush $2K Winner when I actually pushed the $3 Yahtzee button on the machine. This ticket came from the WaWa at Orange / Sand Lake in Orlando.

Here in oregon when my mother won $5000 on a video lottery machine she took her winning ticket into lotto headquarters and they did nothing to check her background or debt. But that is the limit $5000 and under they do not check debt owed to state here in oregon. It was four years ago so I wonder if it has changed.-weshar75

It's too bad neither Jersey or Maryland has the partial-QP feature like New York has. I've been using it a lot lately, but there's times when I don't. But, it can definitely burn you too. Lottery Vending Machine
Thursday I used a lottery vending machine for the first time in over a year. In the past, it made me scan my driver's license before buying but this time it just let me buy my ticket without scanning. Is that the norm now? Louisiana changed its driver's license design recently and I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
