Hidden opportunities within abbr. wheels
RJOh,First of all, we do not use an abbreviated wheel to hit the jackpot. Chances to hit the jackpot are directly related to the total tickets played as any other method of generating tickets to play.Second, abbreviated wheels are good if we want to ensure a guarantee for a lesser prize category with the minimal possible cost. This is impossible with quick picks or if you randomly arrange your numbers. You'll end up with many more tickets to ensure that guarantee. As for the Pick 3 example, I jus

I agree that all humans have a right to and should try at least once. But no more than thrice if the ridicule is obvious. Like system sellers that proclaim We guarantee our system 100%! Youll win better than 1%! How about the dark ages pencil-and-paper in the computer age? How about winning after an infinite number of trials? How about pow

How much have you won with this strategy?RJOhA lot, well lets put it this way, Im still spending prize money, in lottery ticktes. in 2001 i got my first nice prize, w

what is a good lottery system?
RJOh,I think you've pretty well summed up the ifs situation. Actually, I have tried the approach of making up my own QPs using all the numbers in the pool. I've just never had any appreciable luck with it. I've noticed that you have enjoyed some success, so maybe there's some validity to the filters you apply. I enjoy trying to predict the winning numbers, so I guess I'm basically applying filters to arrive at my number selections before I randomly arrange them into lines for play.BobP,I'm not

old theory on statistics
Thanks RJOH for backtesting that but we are approaching this from different perspectives. If there is a way of bringing up old messages, you will note that in the past few years I have pointed out this strange happening on three different occassions. I don't expect to win 66% of the time, and believe me I know what you are saying in playing those odds, but since I have seen this happen on mulitple occassions it looks to me like I should play tickets which at least are in the running when that

Ohio was very very good to me!
I took a weekend trip to Cleveland for the purpose of helping a relative take care of some business. I'd been looking forward to taking a little break from things and I wanted to dabble in the Ohio lottery games. Well, I'm a jackpot kinda guy and I was curious about the Bonus Ball feature of Ohio Super Lotto Plus. I also remembered that RJOh had scored a pretty good hit on Super Lotto the other week.Just a few minutes before cutoff time, I bought a $5 Quick Pick - I guess they call it Auto Lotto

MM 11/16/04
Today I picked my numbers a little differently. I picked 20 lines using parameters in a RNG that I developed from my MM data file and then used the most popular 18 numbers from that group to come up with ten lines which I posted earlier and played. I tighten those parameters by 25% and picked five more lines. The following included the total list of 35 lines. I picked a few more lines from this list to play tonight.FILE : MM111604 05 07 09 18 28 +33 06 14 20 27 35 +07

Analysis of old FL 5/26 Lotto
RJOh,I accept Powerball and MM as random, unbiased. I know others would disagree, but every matrix I've built is based on randomness. Ultimately I think the lottery has balance. Randomness has dventual balance...yes you'll get hot and cold numbers, high and low, but in the end it balances out.The matrix we're talking about is one of the first I developed. I do not think it's exceptionally accurate, but I keep it around since it's easy to maintain. I track the mean value by position for all

Sum total analysis of lotto
Quote: Originally posted by Bertil on October 06, 2004 Now when all the fools know, what has been selfevident to thinking persons, the futility and outright absudity of basing number predictions for powerball and other lotto games on the announced past drawings, maybe it is time to inject a bit of reality into the process and examine what can be predicted. Bertil When I compare the past with the present, there is very little differences and I believe the same will be true tomorr
