MegaMillions picks...08/17/04
RJOh-Although the methods I use are different than the ones you describe for reducing the number pool, the philosophy and strategy behind it is the same:Provide improved odds for all potential prize wins some of the time, at the expense of eliminating chances to win major prizes some of the time(Your methods are excellent, btw, and show that you spend a considerable amount of time studying these games! As you've probably seen, no single method of analysis works for all games, or even consistentl

The minutes following a big jackpot win.
You don't have to win to know what it might feel like to win, a simply mistake can give you the same feeling for a short while. I know because it happen to me once. I pick my numbers using my computer so my picks and lottery drawing files are all in the same directory on my computer. The only time I don't use the computer is to make out my cards. I usually update the lottery drawing file after each drawing and then check my pick file with the draw file to see if I have any winners. There be

Are There Any Real Lottery Secrets?
Quote: Originally posted by dragon on August 06, 2004In a 6/49 game, if all 49 numbers were to be used up by drawings evenly, you would run out of numbers after only eight games. This would mean that all winning numbers in the next game were hits within the last eight games. If you suggest therefore picking your numbers out of the winning games of the most recent drawings, you are simply suggesting the obvious. It is like suggesting always picking your numbers out of the 49 provided, which is wh

Are There Any Real Lottery Secrets?
Quote: Originally posted by RJOh on August 05, 2004I have routines that I wrote in my personal software that do that. I've checked Ohio649 and 50% of the combinations in the last 300 drawings had numbers that all six had hit at least once in the 9-22 previous drawings. It can check the winning numbers of any group of numbers or an part of either group. I haven't found any trends that would help in picking numbers. It also shows that if you go back 5 drawings on average 3 of the six winning n

Are There Any Real Lottery Secrets?
Hi Rjoh, maybe I can help you here. Just to clarify, like I said I noticed this anomaly occurring quite frequently. I said 7-10 times, but your program may decifer it as less. I am just using random observations, but it has been enough to pique my interest. But here is something for you to see: The last Ontario 49 drawing winning numbers was 12, 21,22, 28, 29, 37 and 43. Say prior to this draw you were trying my method out. Well again using that draw as 0 and just counting up a little, at dr

MegaMillions numbers pool
I've been trying to come up with a pool of numbers to play MegaMillions that didn't include all 52 numbers. I've noticed that during the last 215 drawings, a pool of numbers that had been drawn during the previous 15 drawings would have contained 36-45 numbers and would have had all 5 winning numbers 66 of those times and 4 or the winnings numbers 82 of those times. Tonight that pool would include 39 numbers.During the last 194 drawings, a pool of megaball numbers that had not be drawn during
