Ohio Classic Lotto STILL going up!
I can't believe no one has won this jackpot yet. I played 14 lines for last night's drawing and on 2 of the lines I got 2 numbers. It seems I can rarely ever get 3 numbers on a line. I just think it's odd how no one is winning it. It says the maximum the jackpot can increase is 400,000 (based on sales), well it has increased $400,000 several times, so I know people are buying the tickets.

Woman checks old lottery ticket, wins $10 million
No you give me a break. Why do you think PB or MM have never tried to increase the price of the two? do you think it's just a concidence? please! the PB officials went to great lengths to assure players that they would not be increasing the ticket prices. Oh and when I say people I meant majority of players as surveyed by PB. It would be ridiculous for me to carry out that survey, wouldn't it now?

Saving losing tickets?
You probably won't get any thing unless you itemize all your losses and they exceed the standard allowance of $4500. I won $1500 one year and although I bought $3000 worth of lottery tickets that year my $1500 gambling lost with other losses didn't exceed the standard $4500 allowance so I ended up paying extra taxes for the $1500 increase to my taxable income.

Tennessee: 5/1 - 5/31/2009
Did anyone read today's Tennessean. The answer for the low payouts lies in the Lottery Scholarship article. In a nutshell it says that there isn't enough lottery money to pay for scholarships due to an increase of lottery payouts on the instant tickets. Soooooo, Pick 3 payouts are gonna stay low probably until more revenue appears. The Stimulus money isn't earmarked for lottery scholarships.

Powerball and Mega Millions in every state
I really don't think ticket prices will be raised! I think anything over 100 million sales increase rapidly, at least for the powerball. Thats just my opinion.
