Thanks 'Stang...
But it really aint no biggie... I'm in a pool at work with 7 other guys, so we each got $12.50. But when you consider that we each put in 20 bucks (we had a total of 16 tickets) we each lost $7.50. Well, actually our tickets cost us $3.75 a piece (as opposed to 10 bucks) so it aint all bad.....
Yeah, last year a guy from Long Island won. He was stuck in a traffic jam on I-95, so he pulled off into a rest area, saw a sign in the gas station for SuperDraw and bought a ticket

Powerball: Quick Picks or Pick Your Own Numbers?
Longhair
Assuming your pool is for the long haul, I suggest the following:
Add or subtract membership to form 2 or 3 six- member pools.
You would be a member of one team, but would also be AN UNPAID manager/coordinator.
You would coordinate things, keep records, in other words, manage the undertaking.
Each member of a 6 member pool would have responsibility for a specific Decade.
Member 1 would worry about the single digits, Member 2 would worry about the Teens etc Member 6 wou

Powerball: Quick Picks or Pick Your Own Numbers?
First, I would like to thank everyone for their input and for taking the time to respond to my question/poll. Our lottery pool (12 members) has decided to play both ways....we're purchasing QP's for now and would like to learn more about choosing our own numbers.
@Butch2030....I looked over your file and see the repeating patterns/combinations. My question to you is this....how do you choose which group to play during any given game? And how often do you get a hit?
Again, Thanks everyone!

North Carolina Unlimited $$
The cheat sheet is the pool of numbers that NCEL has pulled from every month since the start of the game in 2006. Since there are so many combinations unseen, focus needs to remain on the group of repeats and regulars that they CONSTANTLY draw. I advise anyone who is serious about winning to consult with this list before making choices. The best way to play this list is to figure out at least one key digit with a reliable system and narrow the numbers down to that shorter list. sum 7/11 is popul

Ny Pick 10
Sorry MrsD, I'm only now seeing this post/question ... I used to play this game (seems like a hundred years ago now) and the best I did was 8 of 10. I will have to dig deep to find my notes, but from what I can remember off hand the strategy I used was to ALWAYS use adjacents from the previous draw as well as repeaters along with groups of 3 sequential numbers (for example: 1-3, 10-12, 21-23 etc.). Typically there would be overlapping numbers when applying those three steps and ideally help to k

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
No big wins yet. I lost my gambling fund at the slot machines in Vegas so I am taking it slow right now. Sometimes I don't bet at all, I just see what bets other people are making. It is fun to watch the whales bet $200 or $300 at a time. Yesterday someone was making $30 bets and won 3.1 bitcoins twice, which is about $3600 total.
I am not totally done with scratchers, when the new $20 ticket is released I'll probably buy a couple just to try it out. I am also looking forward to the quarterly

New multi-state lottery game coming to NY, NJ
For a 2 state game with 1 in 21.8 million and 1 in 7.3 million odds the payout limitations probably aren't very important. Even if there's nothing in the prize pool they can still pay five 2nd place winners, and chances of multiple 1st place winners will be pretty low except for the occasional fluke with an odd set of winning numbers. I don't know about NJ games, but considering the performance of Sweet Millions and NY Lotto, I don't see them selling enough tickets to make it likely that there w

FYI, Side Bar -if you haven't seen it yet
In a formal opinion, the state attorney general has declared that Tennessee law prohibits participation in a lottery pool managed by a third party throwing cold water on a Blount County man's idea for a part-time business, though apparently not on informal pools among friends.
