SoniQ BOOM, a new P3/P4 system (Excel)
Soniq, I too made the changes of losing the -1 looking for the number pairs' matches by using the previous line. Here's the code I use for identifying a tie.=COUNTIF(Q3418:Z3418,AA3418)This is for the first digit it replaces the row AB which is previously unused. I then added conditional formatting to turn the background rose colored, if and only if it counts a tie.Hope you like it, Pogo

Trying to figure out formula for
I think I'm getting closer (thanks to whoever spoke on naming ranges in another thread) I named my columns H:M where my pairs are (Pairs) =COUNTIF(pairs,AN2) To count the number of times the pairs are seenNow do I simply divide by the draws to obtain the % that each pair hits?

Got formulas-- need help intrepreting
=MATCH(TRUE,MMULT(--(H2:M4=TEXT(O1, @ )),TRANSPOSE(COLUMN(H2:M4)*0+1))>0,0)-1or=MATCH(TRUE,COUNTIF(OFFSET(H2:M4,ROW(H2:M4)-MIN(ROW(H2:M4)),0,1),O1)>0,0)-1where O1 would contain the pair of interest. It's a CSE formula. Any excel experts to intrepret this for me prehaps make an easier formula --because I did not write thisgot an excel genie to do it for me but they have no time to explain it to me.And I can't make it work until I know how it works well, I can but I don't like not knowing

At a standstill until I can get
So far what I have come up with are listed below=MATCH(TRUE,MMULT(--(H2:M4=TEXT(O1, @ )),TRANSPOSE(COLUMN(H2:M4)*0+1))>0,0)-1or =MATCH(TRUE,COUNTIF(OFFSET(H2:M4,ROW(H2:M4)-MIN(ROW(H2:M4)),0,1),O1)>0,0)-1...where O1 contains the number of interest, such as 36Of course, I did not write these formulas so I need a bit of help intrepreting them.Any volunteers????
