Judge temporarily halts Texas Lottery ban on courier, hints courier "will likely prevail"
Tickets must be purchased at a terminal located in the state of Texas.
Completely different. Otherwise how do you explain a company incorporated in Delaware, getting money from overseas and purchasing Texas lottery tickets through a lawyers office in Detroit by courier?
If only people in the state could use the courier service none of that could have happened (and we wouldn't be discussing any of this).

Lawyer representing $83.5 million Lotto Texas jackpot winner warns of additional investigations
here is the link the the 13 laws that the texas lottery commission says couriers might have violated.

i don't know how it's relevant to this lady's situation because it doesn't appear she violated any of these laws, and i think she used the courier at a point in time when they were still allowed to operate.

Lawyer representing $83.5 million Lotto Texas jackpot winner warns of additional investigations
I believe she may have to move elsewhere - it's evident from the legal counsel claims that the place is not safe for her.
I wonder what her neighbours think about that allegations
I too would want her to get paid, I believe it's her right and if there is no reason to suggest otherwise she needs to get paid.
I am tempted to believe that her legal counsel used the safety argument to justify the use of courier and there is no need to justify that - if the courier is there and one wants

Attorney General investigates "suspicious and potentially illegal" Texas Lottery jackpot
I agree with JohnnyBlaze in part. Texas appears to follow a person-based approach, identifying the individual first and then determining whether a violation has occurred. The individual in question is a non-citizen. However, non-citizen status, by itself, does not equate to unlawful presence. Nonetheless, the government finds it all too easy to apply the full weight of its legal authority against them.
When referring to non-citizens, the state is talking about foreign players who legally pur

One ticket wins $95 million Lotto Texas jackpot, largest prize in the country
I understood that quite well.
My point was someone cannot purchase lotto tickets from the convenience of a smart phone, tablet, home computer and not to depend on a courier service like you mentioned.
In KY originally when they offered on-line ticket sales (no courier) that they would not offer Pick 3 or 4 on-line. So slowly that changed even though KLC said they didn't put them in to help Mom and Pop stores. As many of you know I have a good rapport with the KLC...they ALWAYS

well im now buying euromillions
That's a very complex question. However, I don't think it applies to the service I linked, because it is a courier service for lottery tickets, which are legal. The gambling is being done when the courier purchases the lottery ticket in the store, the gambling is not conducted online.
But there are a thousand different theories for that -- it is a gray area.
No changes planned for USA Mega. It will continue focusing on the USA's 2 biggest multi-state games, Powerball and Mega Millions.

lottery subscriptions
Quote: Originally posted by CASH Only on October 01, 2003 The US Mail basically doesn't allow tickets to be MAILED across a state line. That is correct. The reasoning given by the USPS is that various states (NC is one, for example) have laws on the books which make simple possession of a lottery ticket a crime. Not that anyone ever prosecutes this crime, but the USPS doesn't want to have their carriers potentially breaking a law (enforced or not). Now, you may say, a subscription is not necessar
