Didn't realize playing same sets of #'s multiple times was so common. It does make sense I guess. Still I've never seen it successful before and I can't wait to see who won and hear his/her story.

After looking at the winners for last nights take 5, I'm convinced that buying multiple tickets of the same numbers is actually a good thing. I've seen this before where someone has bought the same ticket 5 times and won, and from the same location. I've seen it recently with mega too. I going to give it a try very soon.

Nope. I toss out all my losing tickets. I do however, re-check them multiple times to make sure I haven't won anything before I do.

I know it's a lot... but the $20 gold rush instant games are my favorite. You have a decent shot at winning $500. I've won $500 twice and $100 multiple times. And here's the kicker... I only go to Florida 3 or 4 times a year. (Roughly a two hour round trip.)

i was more trying to bring to the surface the gimmicks or advertising tricks and verbiage the lotteries use in making their games by appearing them to be or sounding so good...yes its true that one person can be lucky at any time ..or multiple times like you have done (i like your $1 each time btw)....however i disagree that the odds dont mean squat...yes of course they do mean smth...wasnt trying to sound like since that game odds are big to overcome doesnt mean it can't be won....someone winni

You've got it.....I personally look for numbers that show up multiple times, whether it's on one side (plus or minus) or both. This is just a way for me to narrow down my picks. It's usually a pretty good indicator, but I've seen it go the other way too (therefore I still lose several times where I should have won). The ultimate choice of what to play is totally up to you and your intuition.

I didn't see this post, but I actually predicted to a friend that it would be won again the following draw, and sure enough it was. I have seen that happen multiple times before after record jackpots. I think some people just keep playing and don't know it was won already.

I don't understand the purpose of playing the same combination multiple times in a game where the jackpot is divided among the winners. You win the same amount of money whether you buy 1 ticket or 15 tickets. If this person is doing this on a daily basis they are losing a lot of money unnecessarily. Glad they won, though.
