Doing pre tests to make sure the machines work properly is a excuse. As stated in the OP, the lotteries already have procedures in place in case of a malfunction. Okay fine, IF the machine screws up, follow the procedure and move on. End of story. It's like going out at night and starting your car every 15 minutes, because you want to make sure it will start when you leave for work in the morning. Has Michigan RNG been cracked?
I see that the official MSL website shows that a jackpot winning Fantasy 5 ticket for $158,000 was sold at a store in Waterford on 6 June. The next day on 7 june a jackpot winning ticket for $100,000 was sold at the exact same store! Did this actually happen or did they put the wrong info on the MSL web page? Is there a Tipton afoot in Michigan? Did somebody figure out the Michigan RNG program for generating winning numbers? What are the odds for back-to-back jackpot wins

Nope, sorry. I don't agree with mandating someone's identity be made public. The whole situation with Tipton didn't happen because the state was required to release an identity to the public, it happened because the lawyer trying to make the claim was an idiot. The same questions are asked as routine in anonymous and non-anonymous states. If you haven't scrolled right on the last post, here's what got us wondering. You can see there have been no clockwise moves in 6, 7 or 8 since early September. We looked at the other columns in MN Daily 3; both B and C, but this is the only one that has this kind of trend. This got us thinking and it dawned on us that MN allows betting on the first digit only (column A). What's also coincidental is on 2015-09-09 Eddie Tipton was sentenced to 10 years in prison... weird, huh?
