Here in Maryland they held the drawings posted them on the website but we didn't see the drawings because it was a big news event that went on practically the whole 24 hrs during the snow storm.

Up to now, Powerball's jackpot has rarely been updated. This is a rare event but because there are a lot more players this drawing, the jackpot was increased from $107M to $115M. Also, the jackpot amount is estimated, it's not an exact amount. The jackpot amount advertised is no indication that the jackpot isn't getting bigger. For example, the record Mega Millions jackpot was estimated and advertised to be $370M, but when all was said and done, it had actually went to $390M.

Holy COW! Mega Millions went up to $20M. It usually goes up to $16-18M. Looks like the jumps will be bigger in the event that the jackpot rolls. This is awesome!

Things are moving along with my lottery pool. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a creative way to use Facebook to run my lottery pool. I was thinking of maybe creating an event, or having a fan page or group for the lottery pool and then inviting all my friends and family that are either in it or people I want to join the group.

This is truly a sad event. I hope that he is still alive and enjoying what is left of his money. Sadly, I fear that he is dead and the result of being taken advantage of. According to the articles that I have read, he was a very trusting man.

When did I ever say I enjoyed watching WBAL do the lottery numbers, I spent considerable time corresponding with WBAL and the Maryland lottery trying to get them to air the drawings at the specific times as listed on their web site. I also emailed Buddy about Michael Enright complaining about the lottery interrupting the super bowl half time event to air the drawings. Which ultimately led to this. Here are some facts drawings cannot/willnot be aired during any televised live sports event

Hopefully all the lottery execs watch the YouTube video (above) of the drawing. Notice the lack of computers. There isn't a hint of deception or rigging. Notice the excitement of a traditional event in front of a live audience. You can actually feel the excitement when the Fat One number is drawn by the kids. The raffles are a good start, but the conspicuous absence of raffles in many states this year is a shame. Perhaps this is the opportunity for a national game -- not another Super Powe

444 will be the next triple in Tennessee unless a lot of people are playing it. In that event it will never come in. If I play it, it will come in 443 or 445 (I don't subscribe to the law of attraction; I'm not being negative anyway, just realistic). The Lottery Computers save the state a lot of money here. Those infernal balls are too hard to program to weed out the winners.
