Arizona Lottery computerized drawing machine generated identical winning numbers
Machine taken out of service; no explanation offered
Once again computerized lottery drawings are coming under scrutiny as a machine responsible for generating random numbers has done the opposite, generating exact duplicates.
The Arizona Lottery is offering losing ticket refunds or exchanges from four games held over a recent six-day period because a machine used for the drawings generated the same winning numbers in consecutive games.
The games affected are Fantasy 5, Pick 3, All or N

Pick 3 Systems and/or Strategies: Need A "Nudge" In The Right Direction
The problem with the game is that the payouts at the local level where the powers that be want you to play, don't allow any wiggle room for profit. Online its illegal but you do have a chance to pull ahead.
Bingo! Once a player understands this, the advantage becomes crystal clear and these same state run lotteries know this full well. I knew exactly what I was looking at when I found it and I never looked back because I was also struggling with trying to turn a profit due directly to the pa

Pennsylvania eyes leap to internet for casinos, lottery
The main problem for lotteries is that they all kind of follow each other, as far as what technology and tech strategies they use. And those strategies tend to be whatever GTECH or Scientific Games happen to suggest. i.e., not great.
One excellent primary IT person at a state lottery could make their website just as bullet-proof and available as Google's website, for pretty much the same cost as what they are paying today. Such a website would be just as responsive during peak jackpots as it

California Lottery delaying payouts to winners
Late to the party...lived and played CA lottery...won pick 3, 4 and scratch offs. Won over $6K in pick 4 in 2014. Had to wait almost 2 months for my money. CA claimed it takes them that long to check for debts owed to state. I call BS in this day of technology. Think of the millions in interest CA and other states make by holding your money.
Look at GA (played there too)...they pay quickly and state on their website how long you have to wait for your money. I won pick 4 and got my check the s

LSA Pick 3 and Pick 4 Stats
I remember that! Always wonder how any state with the technology available and all the resources to test, check, and double check can make such mistakes.
Now me? Sure I can make that mistake. I do it a lot.
Last night played 138, 248, 329, 228 and 236.
Texas drew 238.
Makes you wonder if I'm the one playing with a few balls short???

Whatever happened to Robert Walsh and his 3and4 number lottery systems??
Well you just proved me right again. It's only the limit of technology that stands in the way.
Numbers have existed long before Humans came into the picture, and as long as infinity exists, so will numbers.
The Hubble telescope's deep field saw clusters of Galaxies 13.2 billion light years away in 1996. It is now estimated at 13.7. So are we to assume that there aren't anymore galaxies farther out because the telescope can't see them?
I think I'm going to change my career from this po

If you want to know what you're getting into before buying the book, read this version first. Some of the information is still good and some isn't, but the overall theme is the same. More recent editions have been updated to reflect changes in law and technology. The author also has a website

Scientific Games says exec stole company secrets
A company that works with more than 40 state lotteries in the U.S. and several overseas says in court filings that a key executive orchestrated a massive theft of its most-prized secrets before he resigned to accept a position with a rival company.
Scientific Games International Inc. is asking a federal judge to prevent the information from being used outside the company in the multibillion-dollar lottery industry.
The company, with offices in Alpharetta, Georgia, filed the civil lawsuit W

Lottery scam investigation comes to Tennessee
I'm with you: I wish this was the beginning of the end for RNG. Unfortunately it doesn't appear that the states are getting it.
Did you watch the video and notice Ms. Hargrove laughingly dismiss the possibility that the Tennessee Lottery's RNG was affected? Rather than taking a serious tone and assuring people that the lottery is carefully investigating everything, she nearly does an eyeroll as she blows off the reporter's question.
For the life of me I can't understand the lotteries' nee
