From Riches To Rags
Why bother breaking them up into smaller companies? Why not just make it illegal to improve efficiency? Let's eliminate the use of electricity in factories, so all of the unemployed water wheel technicians can find jobs again. We can eliminate big trucks and require that all goods are transported by wheelbarrow, and increase teamster jobs by well over 10,000%. We can easily create a job for everyone who wants one. I don't know about you, but I'd love for a box of cereal to cost $25.

They are Increasing the PB Odds Again, How Lame
No matter how many numbers they increase it too the game will still have winners based on the odds 196 million people playing or less is enough too produce a winning ticket somewhere in the U.S. where the game is played!!!

The economy is scaring me...
I think the problem is that they didn't vote to stop the pay raise. The way it is set up AFAIK is that the increase is an automatic cost of living bump, and the only way to stop it is to vote to freeze it.
When I used to get a bonus or pay increase, I had to go through a long review. I would set goals every year and then, at the end of the year, I'd have to prove I met or exceeded them. Obviously, the folks in Washington haven't met or exceeded their goals (both Republicans Democrats)

They are Increasing the PB Odds Again, How Lame
I guess one question would be, are they going to increase players or buys per player? My guess is the result will be more players and less buys per player. I am sure they have done the calculus on this to get the best $ return, all I know is that I don't like it.

Developing a winning MegaMillions System
We're doing ok for Powerball, bit of a roller coaster though. Since I have recently switched the WB picks up for a higher amount (45 instead of 30 numbers, more emphasis on filtering) it is going to take some adjusting before it settles in nicely. Hopefully before the odds increase by 50 million, ha.
