I once thought of writing a program similiar to that, but instead of using a dart board, I was going to use a board with a layout similiar to the game board on the lottery card and the number of squares equal to a line of play would be randomly covered in different patterns until the player found a pattern he liked, hitted a key and added those numbers to a list to play. I use Lotto Pro 3000. I bought it years ago when it was just plain Lotto Pro, but with free updates over the years, it now is Lotto Pro 3000. I like it because it's data files are always updated within 24 hrs of the drawings and the program is updated free as new lotteries come on line. It can analize past drawings history and show the amount of hits,sum,cold,hot,due numbers and etc. It doesn't try to predict numbers. I never thought that Ohio was serious about changing the 649P game unless they could pay out even less and convince the players that it was an improvement. Ohio's 649 lottery format it a good one. There are 649 games in Canada that do well with smaller jackots and better payouts at lower levels. The only thing that might make it more attractive is a change in the payout at the lower level. I am actually working on two programs. One is a data file program which stores data for lotteries and play files in a random format such as N1,N2,N3,N4,N5,N6,N7. A pick5 file use N1,N2,N3,N4,N5 and pick6 use N1,N2,N3,N4,N5,N6 and a powerball type game would use N1,N2,N3,N4,N5,N7 and a game like Ohio649P would use all 7 spaces in the file.
