Consecutive numbers in the Pick 6 lottery have surprisingly high probability but still < 50%
Found this formal paper on the subject, hope it can benefit anyone developing winning strategies, paper uses Pick 6 game for its study model, and results will most likely be different for some other lottery system.
Paper formulates calculation as function of a distance between winning lottery numbers and could have further applications in studying other types of relations between winning lottery numbers.
The fact that chance is 50% (sort of surprising) to a degree does substantiate using n

Premonitions, not dreams
Does anyone out there have some numbers for what happened to me yesterday? I woke up with a weird feeling, both apprehensive and serendipitous at the same time. Sorta like, pay attention to today, it is meaningful .
At work I got bitten very badly by a dog. My boss told me I didn't need to see a doctor and treat it myself at home. But my finger had a huge laceration with subcutaneous fat poking out. I wasn't happy, so when I left yesterday I consulted with a surgeon friend of mine who looked

I think some states may let you skip a press conference or show up in disguise, but the winner's name is still a matter of public record. that's why some people form a trust.
(If people want to dig, they can still fins out who makes up the trust, but it stops a lot of people from prying).
As for the citizenship, I've never heard of any such thing. The only way I know of a foreign national in the U.s. to get citizenship other than the normal requirements are by serving a tour i

Best System for TEXAS ??
Here's a couple of heads up for Texas:
If I were looking for a niche play for the DAY draw, I'd make sure I had plenty of 0 (zeroes). 13 draws have produced no 0 in the DAY draw.
For the NIGHT, my picks would center around the sum of 15. Last it was seen was 10/4/2008 in draw 4679. Saturday was draw 4775. That means is has been absent 96 draws.
Now, over the last two years it has averaged 11 draw skips, with the longest being 34 ending in April, 2007. At this point every NIGHT the sum

1 Billion Dollar Powerball Jackpot!
good point, but they could prolly buy 50 million easy picks from 4 states for a total of $200Meg.
But I do doubt it, the more I think about it, unless the pot does reach a record amount like 7 or 8 hundred million.
So many different things could happen.
If just 20 million people in the U.S. would just buy 10 easy picks every draw, there's an excellent chance of having a winner every time.
(and half of the U.S. population is what, maybe 300 million or something like that?)

Many states' lottery sales are rising in recession
Even in these tough economic times, many people are feeling lucky.
More than half of all states with lotteries have reported rising sales over the past six months, and some researchers say financial insecurity might be driving people to risk more of their money than usual on $1 and $5 instant scratch-offs and other daily games in hopes of a big payoff.
Someday somebody is going to win and I hope it is me, said Albert Atwood of Nashville, who spends $100 weekly playing the Pick 5 and Lotto
