I think Powerball will reclaim the jackpot record. There's 49 million more combinations, which is a 33% increase. That's huge. Hell, 1 in 1 million is a shot in the dark; much less 1 in 195 million. It's insane. Powerball will start seeing super big jackpots a lot more often now.

I don't know if you noticed or not but the odds for the top prize are higher than the 2nd AND 3rd prize. I think they are trying to increase the top prizes to entice play. Could be a new thing. Who knows.

If you know and use ongoing .... 5 digit Strings..... you can cut your chances by HALF . 1 n 5 chance ....... instead of the old normal guess of ......1 n 10 chances. This will increase your chance of being right by 50% That's a pretty serious and significant increase ...... You still can't take the GAm ....outta' gamble .....but this helps.

they always tell you to hire financial planners and lawyers but heck I can't afford that until AFTER I claim my $$$. Also, I feel like whenever the FP and the lawyers know you won the lawyer suddenly their rates will increase dramatically. I really feel like I could manage on my own money and save myself thousands rather than handing it over to some snake in a suit.

The first 500k of a major jackpot (more than 25 million after taxes) would be spent on whatever me and my husband wanted. Just to get that oh my god I have money phase out of us. Because I've already planned that me and my husband would then live off a family salary that would come from the interest. I figured we'd live off of 250k a year. Giving ourselves a 4% increase every two years.

The lottery is fun and inexpensive, certainly cheaper than visiting a casino. I have a set amount that I play every week and rarely increase it. When you go into a casino you never know how much you might be tempted to put into the slots.

You may or may not be happy to know that I first developed the idea for the p3/p4 games. For those games, I used a span of 15-30 days. It was so much work, I decided to aim for p5's larger payouts. What I used for p5 is below: I started with a span of 25-30 drawings and went as high as 100+ for testing. couple of definitions: span: number of drawings in the lookback period string: number of contiguous drawings where each set has 1 or more of the winning numbers and (ideally)
