Remember When?
Remember when lotteries only offered lotto games, and did not offer pick 3 or pick 4?Remember when pick 3 and pick 4 games weren't drawn every day (there was a time when the Big 4 was only drawn 1 or 2 days a week in PA.)?Remember when ALL lotteries used ball machines?Remember when the lottery being rigged resulted in massive layoffs and arrests (Nick Perry)?Remember when Lotto America was still around (Does anyone remember playing that game?)?Remember when all lotteries had lottery game shows?R

My Lastest reply from the Hoosier lottery
That statement (by the Hoosier Lottery) is insane. They want you to see their advanced equipment? Well, Jim695 has already reported that it's a couple of creaky old PCs using a random number generator downloaded off the Internet. I wonder if that's the rigorous procedures they're talking about.Saying that ball machines are more prone to error is rediculously stupid. Everyone knows that computers crash all the time, and that humans are involved in computerized drawings as well. In fact, I

Open Source Lottery Software
One more screenshotScreen5Here is some documentation. The lottery software is mainly used to manage your numbers and look for patterns. You just start up the program and load the past drawings from the mega millions website using the import tool.Analyze the drawing results (right now mainly look at the numbers yourself and use ) but the analyze tool is still being worked on to make charts and graphs. Then use the lottery wheel or play slip to add your picks.Use the filters on the drawing history t

Hoosier Lottery 50/50 Raffle.
The Hoosier Lottery is holding a 50/50 Raffle drawing on 3. Apr. 2005. Tickets cost $2 and you get 4 numbers. The website says one drawing for one winner, so I think that they are guarenteeing a winner for this draw. It's about a month until the drawing, and the jackpot is at $5437 and growing. Any thoughts? I think this may be a good one.

The jackpot in the multistate Mega Millions lottery has grown to $112 million dollars.None of the tickets sold for yesterday's $96 million-dollar drawing matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball. The next drawing will be Tuesday. There were 12 second-prize winners: 2 from Illinois, 3 from Michigan, 1 from New Jersey, 3 from Ohio, 2 from Texas, and 1 from Virginia. Each ticket matched all five lotto numbers but not the Mega Ball number to win a prize of $175,000.Also, 39 players matched fo

powerball & mega millions 5 draws a week
I don't think it would be a good idea for several reasons. I think play would decrease, jackpot only players (people who don't play pick 3 or pick 4 or scratchers all the time) would not buy tickets every day. Pool players would have a hard time - it would not leave much time between drawings to collect for the next drawing - I have hard enough time with that as it is (Friday night drawing till Tuesday drawing only leaves Monday for collecting at work). If they explanded to 3 draws a week, wh
