In those posts your score and the score of the winner(Nik Barker) were mentioned along with numbers matched and neither one of you matched enought to cover the cost of playing 3500 combinations.Nik Barker (winner) score = 6126365 x 3/6 @

To get a fair comparison, I will need to create a list of 900 combinations per draw even if I can only affor

Pick 5 or 5 ball lottery
To Retxx and Teufellj,I wrote a GW-Basic program which changed the numbers in the file the way Retxx suggested. It added +1 to the first, third and fifth numbers and -1 to the second and fourth numbers. If the change would cause a duplicate, the next number was not changed. For example, if the combination had adjacent numbers 1-2-and etc., the 1 becamed 2 and the 2 becamed 1, but if the combination had adjacent number 1-3 and etc., the 1 becamed 2 and instead of the 3 becoming 2, it remaine

Pick 5 or 5 ball lottery
Hi FolksGuess you may be looking for some new blood here to maybe contribute some ideas. Maybe I can share some of the observations I have made.I live in New York, so the game I play is the Take 5 (3/39) drawing. I have been keeping track of this game for the last 10 years. My database of winning combinations is just short of 1500 winners.RJOH, I was looking at your 10/28/02 post with the list of 269 combinations, concentrating on non repeat of a 3 number duplication. Your rate of return was

Pick 5 or 5 ball lottery
Good evening from me to you folks who had the gumption to address my little barb. First off let me say that there are other forums such as Maybell's, which do tend to get different. I would rather not play them down for the simple reason that they are wanting to do the same as us and are getting similar results. They have off and on had qualifying ideas, once you get past the B.S. department. Chipp has suggested a thought and though not afraid to tackle any project, I tend to believe that th

VD,I have been in pools before. Before I retired, I was it a pool at work and the biggest problem wasn't trust, because we made copies of the tickets and every member had a copy. Three times we matched 5 of 6 when Ohio paid more than it does now and the problem was who would collect and pay the taxes, because unless we won the jackpot, only one person could collect the winnings. We all were working in a skilled trade and getting a lot of overtime and chances were who ever collected the money

lottery post member wins little lotto!!
Hello Toni,Yes I do. I play MegaMillions and OhioSuperLottoPlus and sometimes Buckeye5. I posted my MegaMillions picks in the Jackpot games sections. With Ohio jackpot being $24M, I plan to play it also. Most of the times I get something back when I play MM but so far its been $2-$10. In April, I match 5 or 6 in Ohio lottery for $1500, but I seldom match anything that pays. When I play Buckeye5, a $10 ticket will usually match 2 or 3 for $1 or $10, but I don't like having to update my lot

Michigan Challenge Day 5
Sandy,I never said that a person's job measured his or her inteligence. Look at our former VP Dan Q. He couldn't even spell potato. Look, I'm not hassling Serdy. All I wanted were some answers to fair questions. Obviously, he failed at that. Now, he finally sees my point!I agree with that the key in lottery is to win. Unfortunately, this will come a the expense of many other players. The true winners are the states running it.RJoh, who asked for your input. You're telling me to study mo

Somthing to think about
This is a summation of a news article that I read at Biggamelottery.com today.Massachusetts Auditor Joe DeNucci said the state's lottery continues to be troubled with multiple ticket cashers. DeNucci is a political foe of Shannon O'Brien's the state Treasurer who office runs the lottery and is the Democratic front-runner for the governor's office.DeNucci said one lottery winner under the state treasurer's watch claimed 679 prizes worth about $1.2 million, but only paid $9,700, or 0.83 percent,
