Monetary 'miracle' as 2 lotto jackpots won on same day
'Tis the season for giving, and the British Columbia Lottery Corp. got into the holiday spirit in a big way Tuesday, presenting checks to two separate lottery jackpot winners from B.C. A couple from Burnaby, Daniel Fehr and Maria Linsenmeier, matched six out of six numbers in this past Saturday's Lotto 6/49 draw to win $12.6 million, while Robert Sibley of Gibsons received a check for $2 million. He matched all six numbers to win the BC/49 jackpot on the same day. Just two nights before,

PA's Cash 5
There has been some huge jackpots in that game lately. For a Cash 5 game to get up to $1,600,000...that a feat. Brad

Mega Millions lottery jackpot reaches $111 million
I've been noticing that all along. Glad to see another person on this forum likes to see high jackpots, even though we would, of course, be happy with 5 million! I'd be much happier with 50! This one's mine people!

Tennessee: 11/1 - 11/30/2008
well 971 !!! .same game same # . that 3 just hit. $29,000 on a Sunday- no mid day on sun, and Tn payouts continue to be low. check this , when 444 hit it ONLY paid out $ 155,000 .that tells me not many people are playing because of : economy, (bills) , Christmas and the holidays, and Especially the RNG......NOT the Powerball jackpots . If it was Powerball as Rebecca paul said was the cause of loss of revenue wouldnt that apply to every state that has powerball . The lottery in Tn continues to ig

Developing a winning MegaMillions System
The problem with systems is that you will always see jackpots you would have gotten had you just made a little adjustment here or there. It is tempting to keep adjusting the parameters to settings that would have hit the previous drawing. Hard to 'set and forget'.

Arizona Lottery Sales Surge in October
The Arizona Lottery Wednesday reported a strong surge in October ticket sales compared to last year a strong sense that the organization's core consumers are maintaining their purchase behavior despite an economic slowdown impacting most Americans. Sales were up 21 percent in September and 5.8 percent in October compared to those months last year. Lottery sales are holding steady with continued year-over-year growth in its core Scratchers games and jackpot-motivated growth for games such a

Florida Gets Powerball,Does Arkansas Choose Mega Millions?
People couldn't wait for California to join MM- with the promise of $500,000,000 jackpots, which hasn't happened yet, not even close. The only people I can understand getting excited about any state joining PB or MM is a state that has no lottery at all, and that's only the people in that state.

Illinois- Ball Drawings and RNG?
ct, if you get the number to HQ then please post it. I'd like to call them and talk to the 8 dollar an hour secretery and ask some questions. it would be nice to see how much they take in over the period of non winning lottery jackpots. personally, i hit three or four digits when the pots are smaller and numbers are more random. but with these deltas over 20 , it's hard to win on a continual basis.

Do you think more people play the lottery
That's what I have been doing. I have been spending less on powerball and mega millions and more on the pick3 and pick 4 games. Most people feel lucky winning $150 playing Mega Millions or $100 playing Powerball after spending $5 a drawing for an entire year. The same hope of winning the jackpot was there when times were good and players didn't have much to show for the money paid for a dream. There are others games with much smaller jackpots and players can get more back something for thei

Gambling Of Any Kind Is Not A Sin!!
Has anyone of you thought and think that what people bet on are games...Is there anything wrong with a game...Is there anything wrong with placing your money on your favorite team or horse thinking he/she is going to win... Gambling can't be a sin....I encourage for the State to select lottery games that are hard to win but that don't have a lot of odds...I encourage them to do it but at the same time i don't....For example i encourage the state to put keno more harder give it more numbers, t
