An average of 90 drawings is nowhere close to what happens in Ohio's 6/49 game for 977 drawings and I doubt if it's even close to what happens in any other 6/49 game. With only 49 numbers and using 6 of them in each drawing, if no number repeated all the numbers would come up at least once in 9 drawings. I won't be playing MegaMillions with a system anymore but I will play a few QP's when the jackpot gets over 500 million. So all in all I will be contributing signifcantly less to the jackpot pool during the jackpot run than I have currently to date. Well, yea, depending on the individual, the final tax bill is going to come out different, but my point was uncle sam is going to get a a pretty big chunk no matter how you slice the cake. your earlier post about treating it like an office pool is probably the way to go.

This sucks! This smells like a proposal that came from someone linked to the NY Lotto game. 75 numbers! That is crazy! Quick picks or a system.
Well the people at work all got a PB pool together and collected $5 each from 22 people including me. Then handed me the money and said you play it however you want, they know i play and do win on systems when the #s are in the wheels i use. But $110 will only go so far PB is pretty tough to hit 3 and sometimes even the PB # is pretty tough.
