Winners of big lottery jackpots often crave anonymity amid challenges to do so
Disguise is something I have considered should a huge winning occur. I don't think we have the option of being anonymous in Idaho.

Maryland Mega Millions winners claim prize anonymously
I'm happy for these Maryland folks and glad their names weren't released, but I actually think they gave too much away, unless for some reason they had to by state lotto rules (hard to believe that).
If you're going to be anonymous, be ANONYMOUS. That means no quotes to the media, even through a lotto spokesman, and especially no divulging of information about your current workplace. The last one's a real head-scratcher.

they don't get it venom. these wishing everyone could be anonymous supporters are only leaning that way so if they hit something they can remain anonymous. somewhat moot since less than a handful of state allow it anyway. what's the point of playing a big jackpot lottery if you want to keep your same lifestyle after you win it. they might as well only play cash5's and be satisfied with not being bothered with 100k win. i'd also like to really see their reaction if a close friend or relative won

Nothing stupid about remaining as anonymous as possible. The stupid ones will claim their jackpots with all the fanfare they can .Seems to me that includes you.

Maryland Mega Millions winners claim prize anonymously
They chose to be anonymous so they can live the same life they lived before only with more money and freedom. Geez.

Is Mirlande Wilson an Attention Seeking Fraud, or Have the Winning Ticket?
Well if it is anonymous, unless some details are given that seem to exclude her, we may never know.

Kansas Mega Millions winner claims jackpot anonymously
Would any of you people who think the winners should be allowed to claim anonymous in every state still think that way if and when all lotteries go computer digital?

Kansas Mega Millions winner claims jackpot anonymously
gppd luck with that if you win. and you don't need large blue letters to get your non-point across. i guess you don't understand human nature. you don't have to help strangers but believe me you will be scorned if you don't dole out to friends and family. why would anyone want to remain anonymous. it seems to be to ward off the throngs of people you don't know who would be looking for a handout. i'm just saying you cannot remain anonymous unless you cut and run. otherwise everyone will find out.
