100 dollar ticket
I have never bought a scratch off ticket before..I dont think I have..that plus the fact I live in a state that doesnt have a lottery anyway..but I dont think I have ever bought one even traveling through a LOTTERY STATE..I am not sure what the fascination is with those scratch off tickets..talking about having NO CONTROL OVER WHAT YOU GET....IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT IN MY BOOK....at least when you play pick 3 or pick 4 you can use past draws to increase your odds...you have no control over those sc

Off topic: Please do NOT pump gas on May 15th!!
I agree, although it's still not called a monopoly. If you want DSL in this area, you have to choose one company. Same with the cable tv and broadband. They pretty much dictate what you can and cannot do and the prices just increase without any explanation.

Chaos-Order Duality
The reason the Gravitational force is negative and the Electrostatic force is positive for like charges is because Gravity acts to decrease the distance between the two like charges, negative, and Electricity acts to increase the distance between two like charges, positive.

Virginia - $1 Ticket with 65% Payout
There's a new scratcher coming to Virginia soon by the name of Wild Cherries. It will have a 65% payout, which is more than the 61% Virginia typically pays on $1 tickets. This could be just a one time thing, or perhaps a increase in payouts across all payouts in that state. Stay tuned.

Ohio's Classic Lotto
Ohio Classic Lotto, 44 draws into the game and no jackpot winners as of yet. I played $5 one time and got $2 back and haven't played since. I'm waiting for all numbers to be drawn at least 10 times, hope the game doesn't close down before that happens. I did notice that the jackpot doesn't increase very much draw to draw.

scratch-off tickets experiment
thank you for your post, litebets27. you re right, most scratch off players have thought about buying in bulk. I usually buy 50$ worth of scratch off tickets but I haven t bought any for 3 months, been saving it up for this experiment. I guess it s no secret that by buying one or two tickets from one game, there are very slim chances of winning and if you buy 10 tickets your chances go up. What I am trying to do with this experiment is to see how one can increase their chances of winning. In a w

would you pay 2 dollars for a ticket......
I said maybe in that it would only have to apply to Mega offering the megaplier in all states...so like I sometimes will pay $2 to powerplay my Powerball ticket...I would do the same with Mega. But to pay $2 just for the single line of numbers...No way...unless that increase in ticket price is accompanied by a decrease in the matrix...say from 1 - 56 to 1 - 50 (then I could use fifty state combos) for the field of 5 and from 1 - 46 to 1 - 40 for the Mega Ball. I think to do otherwise, Mega and

N.C. Lottery celebrating 1st birthday
Instant Games are the bread and butter for any state lottery. Increase the payout NC and I'm sure the response will go over well. Why play NC scratch offs with only a 52% payout when states around NC have 65-70% payouts? Also, like Lottomike said... Bring in a pick 4 so those players don't have to run to the border. Lots can be done!
