Is a 500 million jackpot even possible?
50% of the ticket sales goes to the prize pool, and of that 50% goes to the jackpot. If there is a $5,000,000(cash) jump between last saturdays drawing and tomorrows drawing that means there will be about 20 million tickets sold. So that's 20 million out of a possible 120 million combo's.On the $315 million drawing last christmas there was over 200 million tickets sold.(cash jump of 50 million). This is just guessing, someone correct me if I am wrong.

After that January 15th drawing, I used about $56 of the $100 for the very next drawing, and the rest for the money for drawing afterwards. I played mostly the same numbers on both drawings (I filled out a lot of those play slips where you fill in your numbers). I played the same numbers that I originally had as quick picks when I first played them. But I stuck with those same numbers anyway. Both times, I only ended up with around $17 and $20.
