Do some number combinations have better odds?
What techniques, RJOH? All I have read about are people posting 28 numbers and people bee-i-itching about those numbers. I would really enjoy reading how people went about picking their numbers, what criteria they used, and so forth. I can do without all that other.
We all know what the odds are and that odds never change. We also know that having a 28 number pool will (on some draws) put our anticipatory odds at something less than 175 million to one and on other draws increase our anticipat

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Very nice work Thanks for sharing that. rcbbuckeye. And remember you only need to win the jackpot once on any one singe given draw to make it all worthwhile.
Its easy for any clear thinking lottery player to see that you are playing for a jackpot, NOT some long term statistical advantage over the lotteries so that you can beat the house and beat the odds
Best wishes on hitting that jackpot for yourself and your work pool.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
I suspect his whole reason to post that was to show that no lottery system could perform better than any other, not to try to prove you can develop a better system (which you can't!)
It's much easier to see that when you take a relatively large pool of numbers, and make them smaller. The math still applies to the larger games, but it is very easy to see why no system will work against a small field of numbers. Less variance to weave through. It's nice and simple to notive you're LOSING o

List the pairs and I will give you the stats.
I can also give the same stats on 3, 4,5 or 6 combo for any size pool lotto.

Yes, I find its the best way to play if you intend to win daily and not just once in a while. If you think you know just one digit in the number, simply play all the combos with that number and you will win. It's a money pool in a sense, just one place to look to get an idea of whats being pulled. The whole list is only intended to play if you play online and benefit from lower betting wagers. Key digits are the best guarantee on winning. No other method allows you to win more that once a week t

Lottery is unfair
how about an end of year raffle, where all the losing tickets people have purchased. well ok all th tickets pople have perchased have a chance?
would also save on litter. maybe a 5c entry cost from the prize pool, per ticket. snd make it something where ALL the prize money goes to prizes. and lots of small ish ones and a few dozen $1 mill prizes.
sure its bound to be a hassle. keeping tickets out of the sun for a whole year. but i like the idea of buying 1 ticket and going into more t

Do some number combinations have better odds?
A perfect example is my method of eliminating 20 numbers from the PB pool.........
Yes, the odds MAY balance out over 1000 draws, but if I by some stroke of luck can get 1 in 575k odds every other draw (or so) why would I reject that and play for 1 in 5million odds???????
From the perspective of a superior being would you rather play twice with zero odds and once with 1 in 575k odds, or 3 times with 1 in 5 million odds???
Just wondering...........

RL's Digit Master Pro Big Game software download.
Count me as one who loves it. I am in Florida and wish there was databases that would allow it to be used in the other Florida games (Lotto, Mega Money and Fantasy 5).
I use it in the pool I run at work for Powerball. We hit 1-4 and 4-3's in the last draw. I missed on 2 of the filters I used. If the 2 filters I missed would have been correct, we would have hit 5 + 0.
RL, keep improving on this software, IT IS THE BEST

I think I just may have cracked the p-3 code
Hi Manual, welcome to Lp community, Can you check this link www.lotterypost.com/thread/252034 and if possible code it and add it your system. Also give thought of reducing the pool size from 0-9 to 0-6 and treating p3/p4 as 3/6 digit game.
I was at the library yesterday afternoon reading about Linear algorithms related to RNG's. Trying to generate random events and testing is a a difficult proposition , but on hunch , I said to myself ' why not reduced the SPACE ' where all events occurred?
