First no matter what I won I would pay tithes, then I would donate to various charities, American Cancer Society, Abused Elderly and children organizations, Homeless Shelters, Autism Foundation to name a few. the reason I named these is because I already donate to these causes, it's not much but every little bit helps, so I know when I hit the big one, they will really get a serious increase in funds from my family.

Has there been any organized pressure against MM (or PB) to give some more respectible non-jackpot prize payouts? MM's 4+0 pre-tax payout is less than 1% of the odds. So this gets me thinking... If MM intends to keep my interest in their game, they must increase the non-jackpot prize payouts to a minimum 10% of the odds. Living on a fixed income for a long time obviously has its down-side, but what you're describing is stupidity. Being stupid is a much bigger problem than an income that doesn't go up. I could spend the 600 grand a year I'd net after earning a million bucks a year, and I could probably do it pretty easily, but only by being stupid or reckless. 600 grand a year is enough to live extremely nicely and still make an annual investment that's considerably more than the average household income.
