$1 million rollover in NY Lotto
Everybody needs to agree with ecwcaps and I that NY Lotto should be avoided like the plague. I've seen four numbers pay $13! The ONLY thing that can help NY Lotto sales is an increase in the 38%-40% payout.

Changes in Mega Millions
Lowering the odds with no price change isn't an option for them. Sales are already stagnant due to the string of low jackpots. Also sales always go up on large jackpots compared to lower jackpots. I think a small reduction in odds combined with a price increase might work but it's hard to say.

Mega Millions hit again!
I also don't understand how a string of low jackpot wins decreases sales of opening jackpots. If anything, it should increase sales at the opening levels, because one would think that one at least had a chance of winning.

Changes in Mega Millions
dvdiva- we just have to agree to disagree- it HAS had runups over 100, 200, 300 mil under this format, so it is simply the luck of the draw........your poll also needs to say don't change at all , to get a true poll. The worse the odds increase, the LESS people will spend, so it has a negative effect on the other side. Don't you care about YOUR chance of winning vs. the Mega Millions game making more money? Geez!

My P3 Picks (All States) 7/10 Evening
You are welcome, bellyache. Not very many numbers and even less hits! Will have to increase the quantity of numbers tomorrow!

N.J. budget deal, but lottery restart date unclear
I believe, according to our news, that you in NJ are the only state that has higher property taxes than we do in WI. So it must be h*ll, because ours are ludicrous. They tried to raise the the taxes in the past few years, and had, literally, angry citizens descend upon their meetings. It almost got out of control.
They (the PTB, aka clueless pols) know better than to try that route again here. So instead, because they can't manage (literally) to live within their budgets, they are raising

N.J. Lottery players question logic of shutdown
How is closing the lottery and casinos going to help with a budget shortfall? Wouldn't it make more sense to keep current revenue coming in until you can figure out a way to increase revenue or decrease spending?

MM increases by only 2 million
That is the smallest increase Mega has had since it went to 5/56 + 1/46, and I think it is the minimum rollover. I'm surprised $3 million isn't the minimum rollover, which it should be. I guess Mega didn't think of that because they didn't think minimum rollovers were necessary with California playing.

Spawn Origins of Pick 3 numbers that produce hits for many systems.
Amilby, with your brilliant self, I'm sure you could make Spawn work for you to even increase your hit ratio. Maybe from draw to draw perhaps? LOL. Well, it maybe wishful thinking for some, but I wish it for you.

MM and PB predictions 2006
I would rather continue with 15/5 or increase to 18/6, not 20/5 because I think there's a better chance of matching the MB if I went to 18/6 format. However fja, the individual challenge stays on!
