Co-worker suing for share of lottery prize
You are correct, GameGrl. The role of a notary public is only to verify that the signature/s on a document is/are those of the signatory/ies. Notarizing a document does not make it any more legal and binding than it was before it was notarized. An invalid document does not become valid just because it is notarized. A document does not have to be notarized in order to be valid or binding.
The determination of the validity of any document does not rest upon whether the document is notariz

Powerball Sets A New Record
It seems like Powerball is setting a new record for setting the most new records.
I really dislike this new matrix. It seems to me aside from the occasional jackpot winner, fewer people are winning less money. I know for a fact I am. Powerball is doing a great job. A great job screwing the players with their ridiculous odds and bogus jackpot amounts.
Take a game...inflate the advertised jackpot amount so the unknowing will flock to buy tickets...decrease the cash value so you can supp

Would u try to remain anonymous?
It doesn't look as though I'd have that option.
From the Rules and Regulations printed on the back of each ticket:
Washington's Lottery has the right to publish the name and city of residence of the prize winner. The name and city of residence of jackpot winner(s) and second prize winner(s) will be disclosed in a news conference or news release. A prize claim form is a public record governed by Chapter 42.17 RCW.
I was just thinking about this last night, wondering if in this state

How close have you come.......
If you count the Pick 5 games. I have hit 4 out of 5 three times before they went computerized. I haven't played more than 2 or 3 times since...I have one on record here from way back.

Some of the post doesn't show because of the changes that Todd made to the forum after that but you get the idea. I posted 4 lines. If I would have wheeled them I would have hit top prize. but hind sight is always 20/20.

Record Powerball lottery won by one Nebraskan
Good grief! Look at the time on that ticket. (Well one of them any way.) 7:02 AM! One things for sure...the Nebraska Lottery sure didn't waste any time validating that sale.
OK...now for the not so fun stuff: Someone is looking at video tape from the store trying to figure out who bought the ticket? Who? The Nebraska Lottery? Why? They already know the ticket was bought there. The Convenience Store people? Why? So they can mooch money from the winners? The Press? Why? So they

Hoosier Lottery
Uncle Jim said:
Now granted this was a record jackpot but these numbers still highlight 2 facts. (1) Hoosier Lottery payouts are grotesquely low. (2) Indiana residents consistantly win significant amounts of money playing Powerball.

It's true.
Indiana players can consistently overcome odds of 584,432 to 1 or greater to win ten grand or more in the PowerBall game, but we can't overcome odds of 1,0

What is the largest Jackpot ever?
I think you are talking about El Gordo. El Gordo has a bigger prize but is divided in such a way that a town wins not one person. There is no equvalent anywhere else and it's not a jackpot game like Powerball, Megamillions, etc.
Powerball got generous and gave 48.5% toward the jackpot so a record pot would be equal to Euromillions at 451 million. It would take 4 rollovers to get to 465 which would top the prize.
Megamillions usually drops down to 58% for large prizes so a Euromillions priz

My support for MUSL Hot Lotto has faded
You're absolute right, JS9.
Of course, the big proponents of computerized drawings would say how they have all these checksum algorithms and security protocols, etc., and nothing of the sort could ever slip by them.
Yeah, right! These companies are modest-sized firms, with nowhere near the resources as a big company like Microsoft, Apple, Oracle, etc., and yet those big companies are thwarted by hackers every day. And you're telling me that some sub-$100 million company can have a better

KY/TN Tuesday
My keys tonight are a 7 or/and 1 for Tennessee if it draws off last night's number. Off midday would be 8 and/or 4.
Haven't been in testing long enough for this state to know if they are accurate or not. If I post it I have a record...it doesn't get lost in my papers.
that 134 looks mighty good, bubber.
Kentucky, your keys are 9 and/or 5 ...again that is off last night's number. I have not researched the trend yet so if it is off today's midday number it would be an 8 or/and 2.
