Annuity payments
Several games (not counting the Lose for Life variety) have the annuity paid out in 30 annual payments. Of these, Powerball's is a graduated annuity; its payments increase yearly by 4%.

"Winning Plays A Game With Your Head"
hahahahahahah. Shane3, I agree with you on the family piece. I'm there. In my dreams come true document, I have a set amount for a Friends and Family Account. There are strict procedures I'll follow in that money being distributed. If they can't live with what I gift them, too hell with them. I would do every thing in my power to make any jackpot win to increase, not just consume it all and go broke.

The Solution t This Gas Extortion
I think the increase in gasoline prices is a ruse by the cereal companies. Last time I walked down that aisle in the supermarket, I thought I turned into a real estate office by mistake.

Rising Gas Prices Not Helping Lottery Ticket Sales
If gas prices are continuing to increase, people won't be buying as much lottery games in NC and/or any state they wished to play. I think people need to cut down on transportation (cars) if they want to play any of the lottery games in any state.

Rising Gas Prices Not Helping Lottery Ticket Sales
I really don't think its the price of gas but the availabilty of games that has slowed the lottery in NC. I personally don't bother with instant tickets but I do play the powerball and Cash5 when I cross the border to get my gas in SC. Once NC gets both a powerball and cash 5 game I'm sure they'll see an increase in sales. I've noticed that when the jackpot is large there are still alot fo Nc license plates at the store where I buy my tickets.

Powerball lottery being considered in Wyoming
Considering the population this is the one state that DOESN T increase the odds. I think the only other state game should be bingo. 5-7 halls should just about cover it. The only way they can affect game odds is convincing the mosquitos to buy tickets.

WOW ! winning jackpot system at last!
Expert Lotto is not your run of the mill lottery analysis software and yes it has lots of tools plus, more capabilities than most lottery analysis software. I don't expect any lottery analysis program to be 100% accurate, there has to be some human intuition involved. What Expert Lotto's WN History is offering is 45% to 91% of the solution and you are to make up the other percentage for a winning combination.
Expert Lotto's WN History filter is based on past number occurrences, where each nu

13 State Employees to Share $224 Million Powerball Lottery Jackpot
Jim: We don't disagree with actions taken, you do. I'm not convinced that Powerball's increasing annuity is necessarily a bad thing, as many people have voiced. And as I've said before, an increase in number of jackpots was an actual phenomina, not just a perceived one, and the states felt they had to do something in order to protect their #1 most important game.

13 State Employees to Share $224 Million Powerball Lottery Jackpot
OK Chuck...so you're not high enough up the MUSL foodchain to get a bonus. Bummer! You deserve one.
Just a couple of points:
I don't want to hold the lottery to a different standard. I want to hold them to the same standard any other business is held to. Most notably truth in advertising.
The bottom line with me is this...It's clear Powerball doesn't want winners at the lower level. They want to advertise a great minimum prize but they also want to make sure nobody wins it. As
