Faber, you can state your theories and what ifs all day long. When it comes down to winning the jackpot and being anonymous, its your choice. Take the word Friends what are the last 4 letters ? ENDS and that is what you do to people who have you in their lives for money.....Have any of the anonymous lottery people in the past been found out ??? I haven't seen any articles about them.....The people who stay in/seek the spotlight will still be bothered by others who want something for nothing.....

I prefer to claim a lottery jackpot anonymously. Although I would prefer that all states would allow you to remain anonymous.

Here's Florida's Lottery FAQ section about anonymity :
Can Lottery winners remain anonymous? Answer---- No. Florida Lottery winners cannot remain anonymous. Florida law mandates that the Florida Lottery provide the winner s name, city of residence, game won, date won and amount won to any third party who requests the information; however Florida Lottery winners' home addresses and telephone numbers are confidential.
