The Lottery Is A Tax On The Poor.
He he, I like your persistence with the control deal. Truth be told, Thrift, everyone needs that hope of maybe...just maybe hitting it pretty good one day and there's nothing wrong with it. Problem is, the states need to do more to show their appreciation than just creating new games with the same old odds and percentages of players winning. They can allow more people to win which, in turn, would cause so many more people to take notice and 'chances' on becoming winners, too. It all balances out

Watch and listen to this video - it will make your heart happy
This is truly beautiful. What is wonderful about this is that people will walk past an older person as though they don't exist, and I am sure that many, as have I, have had that happen countless times. I sometimes think that in the eyes of the young, we become invisible as we age, especially in these days of all-absorbing portable technology that so entrances the young!
This wonderful older gentleman made them stop and pa

Minnesota lottery officials try to salvage online sales
Minnesota State Lottery officials are scrambling to craft a last-ditch deal that would stop legislators from slamming shut the lottery's foray into online ticket sales.
Lottery officials have been meeting daily with legislators to broker a compromise that would allow them to continue selling tickets online while prohibiting any new initiatives.
I am hoping we can we reach some kind of common ground, state lottery director Ed Van Petten said. I think there is a chance that people will fina

Illinois Lottery mulling changes to drawings
From the OP:
Lottery officials said Tuesday they are considering parting ways with WGN-TV, home to daily drawings since 1994, when the current one-year contract expires in June. Advances in lottery technology, an influx of new games and the move by Tribune Co. to pull the evening drawings off of national cable channel WGN America in February are playing into the decision.
Couple this with the thread about Northstar not divulging everything and it's very suspicious.
WGN America is in th

Does Binary help
Binary can be used to reduce some data to simple yes/no choices. This does not gain anything as far as the
odds go as you need to make many smaller 50/50 choices to get the answer. An example. Lets say that we
need to fix a car engine. At first glance we might be overwhelmed by the technology as a whole. The most
complicated engine is just a series of parts held together by bolts and nuts.

Installed new spell checker
This evening I installed a new spell checker. Many of you have noticed that the old spell checker has not been working for the past week or so.
Unfortunately the installation of the new spell checker meant I needed to install some new technology on the Lottery Post server, which disrupted service to the Web site for about 10 minutes. Happily, things are back up and running fine now.
The old spell checker was based on a Google service that apparently they are no longer supporting. Google se

Voice Chat
First i'd like to thank Todd for such a great website. I'm new as a member but have been visiting the site for quite some time. My question is related to voice chat. With the advancement in technology and internet speed this is the one feature that just isn't utilized on most websites of any kind. Yahoo survived for years really on just that feature. As an avid online gamer we rented low ping servers just for chat very cheap and couldn't have got by without them for frag matches or the online ra

New the board.
Pattern is just an illusion. Our brain is vulnerable to see pattern that doesn't really mean anything. Like seeing faces in the cloud or on the surface of Planet Mars.
Just look at these 3 pictures of human face on Mars. Same object but taken at different years as resolution and technology improved.
As you can see, there is no human face on Mars. As resolution has improved, it became clear that our brains trick us into thinking that there is a face that isn't there.
