HELP! Macro to eliminate 5 match numbers
RJOh,
None of us really likes to admit being wrong. One of the most seductive ways to avoid that is to change our opinions retroactively. We say, 'No, no, you just misunderstood, you thought I was saying X when I really said Y.' Or, even worse, sometimes we just stubbornly refuse to acknowledge the evidence in front of us.

HELP! Macro to eliminate 5 match numbers
RJOh,
When you write ...only a few of the most likely results, you reveal the mode of thinking which is hampering your ability to clearly see the impossibility of knowing WHICH few are more likely, OR if ANY are more likely. This might help you to see what I'm driving at:

P.S. I've alluded to AND pointed to this phenomenon in several other posts, but no one has engaged with it. I hope you will be the first.

MADDOG'S Powerball Challenges (The Details)
RJOh,
You're getting ahead of me! I didn't check your math but your table looks correct to me. As you know, there are people here who are skeptical of anything that could be construed as theoretical. I decided to output all the details for this reason. I used the same approach with the Pick-3 results. (And it didn't work for some anyway!) However, being a more trusted poster here than me, your table may lend some support to my endeavor. Thanks!
What I think people want to see is whether t

Maddogs Powerball Challenge 8/28
RJOh,
Sorry if the answer to this is posted somewhere in the Challenge rules, but I didn't come across it. What do the results mean? in 3 + 0 , 3 whats and 0 whats?
Also, I would have thought the picks would have been judged on the basis of ROI, Return On Investment. For the majority of posters, 12 white ball and 4 powerball choices result in (792 * 4) or 3,168 tickets required to cover all the bettor's possible wins.
