NY hospital orderly wins $20 million lottery jackpot
If anyone recognizes him, he will always be known as someone who won $20 million and not the $5.8 million that he actually netted after all tax obligations were met. Some people who read the press release will think that his after tax cash amount is $7.4 million which is true but unless he donates a bulk of it away he will owe another $1.6 million when he files taxes in 2015. This is why so many previous lottery winners get in trouble because they have no idea that additional taxes are owed.

Post your scratch ticket results
Yes I would rather have the one $50 but if you buy a roll it doesn't matter. In the future if I ever buy rolls again it will have to be right after release - think it's the only way I will have a chance to profit. And in PA probably not much of a chance. Might as well buy the next roll around here becuase King of Prussia disappointed again. Maybe that gas station has gone cold like many places in PA.

She had less than $5 cash with her when she filed for bankruptcy two years ago, but Tuesday, a Merritt Island, Florida, woman held a giant novelty check for more than $200 million in lottery winnings. Federal court documents show Robyn Ann Collier's personal property on April 30, 2012 included $4.73 cash on hand. Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
They will probably re-order GRT because of its popularity. It's been re-ordered about 7 or 8 times already. The only reason the Fla Lottery will not re-order will be if they release another version of the game with an inferior payout schedule. It seems like a lot of the newer games are just rereleases of older games but with slightly worse overall odds. I guess they can do that when they keep getting record sales.

Northstar fights to keep Illinois lottery documents secret
At a hearing before the Illinois Court of Claims, Northstar Lottery Group argued today that lottery officials have no duty to release a marketing study and a business plan even though the Illinois Attorney General has advised the documents should be made public. Oh boy, what did you expect! Those are documents that public state lotteries publish and release all the time. But now you're dealing with a private company, and they want to keep their secrets. So you got this half-half public

Northstar fights to keep Illinois lottery documents secret
The company hired to run the Illinois Lottery continued its fight to keep some documents under wraps, arguing their release would violate its contract with the state and expose company secrets to competitors. At a hearing before the Illinois Court of Claims, Northstar Lottery Group argued today that lottery officials have no duty to release a marketing study and a business plan even though the Illinois Attorney General has advised the documents should be made public. The firm asked the cou
