Generous former lottery winner says she accidentally gave away second winning ticket
If she's a free spirit giving money and tickets to strangers, it is going to be very hard for her to claim she gave that ticket out by mistake only after she learned it was a winner. If she had made her claim before the winner stepped forward, it might be a different story.
Now what would be funny in this situation is if the lottery commission agreed she bought the winning ticket, gave it to someone as a gift, and the IRS and her state Treasurer came after her for income taxes on the money sh

Standing behind people buying MM tickets..
That line was RIDICULOUS ... went out there yesterday and had to get back on the highway and go to Nipton. When I got in that little bed breakfast joint the line was wrapped around inside the store! Had to laugh, cause it was still better than Primm, and that was Yesterday. Had to be beyond ugly today.
P.S. funny you went from West to East, I used to live in Old Bridge, NJ before coming out here ...

$363 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot raised due to heavy sales
Hence my statement personal agenda and wanting your money . It is funny though how everyone comes out of the woodwork looking for help when you become rich, but were nowhere to be seen when you were down and out. So I feel no obligation to help anyone unless I decide to on my own. No one is going to tell me how to spend my money, period. That is why I did my homework, not to make others also rich. I did not exist to them before I won so I won't exist after either. Even if the returns are good wh

$363 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot raised due to heavy sales
If I won I would make Tina turner an offer on her house in the South of France. If she didn't want to sell I will find try to find me a place like it and build me one that is similar. There is a funny interview with Oprah about something she bought that belonged to a King Louis. She said something a long the lines of I liked it and I didn't see any reason why I shouldn't have it. The crowd laughed. With lottery money that is my mantra. I am going to put about 20 million away for safe keeping. Put

$295 back thats funny ! I had a roll of Ruby 7s that got me $295 back and another right after that got me like $330 and after that found a $1.3k roll. Even with the $5 loss its worth it as entertainment value alone...
Today I got the last 6 Jubilee on the roll and got a $30 $20 and $100 made $30 ......

Would you quit your JOB if you won the lottery!
If I were in your shoes I'd hire a nanny/house keeper. I heard Berta may be available from two and half men. She is so funny!
When I win, I would have to quit my job ( the fastest way to mediocrity is to follow the crowd ).

$356 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot nears record
Actually the wire transfer...if you were the sole winner would be for roughly $191 million as only 25% Federal tax is witheld initially. You would owe another $25.5 million (Federal top tax rate is 35%) when you file your 2012 income taxes.
I find it funny how the media really makes it sounds like as if the sole winner would get the entire $356 million as a lump sum if won.
