Mega Millions lottery jackpot increases to $150 million
Wait until we get up there to like $200,000,000...I think the California prizes then will be really sucky. There will be just to many winners. And yeah isn't that a small increase. I mean they did sell 37 million tickets. The next jackpot after Tuesday should be around $200,000,000. If it is not I will be disappointed. Brad

Lottery law sets rivalry in motion
North Carolina should start off with a Pick-5 lottery! No more than 32 numbers.Jackpot - $100,000.002nd tier - $500.003rd tier - $10.004th tier - $2.00Either the Jackpot rolls over, or the lower tier prizes increase by the amount remaining when no one hits the Jackpot. No taxes on prize amounts.I'm running for the North Carolina directors job!LottoVantage

PowerPlay also changed!!
I must be missing something. In the old matrix you had a 40% shot of winning $200,000 or $300,000 if you PowerPlayed on a 5+0.Now you have a 50% shot of winning $400,000 or $600,000 on a 5+0...for a slight increase in the odds...plus you've always got that 50/50 chance of at least $800,000!It doesn't seem that bad to me.

So does anyone know the cash pot in PB,MM
The reason PB's cash option is less because payments will increase from year to year just like CA SLP. In Mega Millions, if players take payments, they'll receive the same amount every year [less federal and state taxes].

farewell old PB matrix...
I agree. However, I still buy two when the jackpot is at least $100 million (although if that happens too many times like it has with Mega Millions, I might have to increase that threshold), and three when it's at least $250 million.

Do you believe you'll win a jackpot?
I'm afraid that there are a lot of non-winning disappointed people out there who are trying to win The Big One . I think if you believe in yourself and your abilities you can achieve many things, but winning the lottery isn't one of them.Winning the lottery is nothing but pure blind luck. Maybe there are some people who have a system that can increase the odds of winning by a fraction of a percent, maybe not, the jury is still out on that one.Whoever said If you can conceive it, then believe i

Is less best? $93 million vs $10 million
i guess if i had to i would take any winningsi buy a ticket no matter the prize for MM even a $10 mill pot would increase my lifestyle enough. my thinking is you cannot win if you do not have a ticket and it may be the only time you will win is when the jackpot is the smallest or has multiple winnersnot sure i made the point very good here

Game Revivals
I say Texas Lotto goes back to a 6/54 game because their 5 numbers and a bonus ball are flopping. I think CA SLP would increase the number of white balls to 50, but keep the number of mega balls at 27 to decrease the odds of winning the jackpot.

lottery truths
pacattack05: Galaxies have a center with orbiting entities. Solar systems have a center with orbiting entities. Stars have a center that have orbiting entities. Planets have a center with orbiting entities. Atoms have a nucleus with orbiting entities.Good thing you only compared atoms with galaxies to make a point about existance of systems, b/c micro- and macrosystem are totally different from each other when it comes to physics. Not to mention the comparison between microsystems and clusters o

lottery truths
Well, i guess this all means one needs to walk the truly randomness as it exists.Entropy will increase as time goes by. Next thing you know you are using Feynman's path integrals to predict all possible pasts to achieve the knowledge of the status entropy is currently in. Which would actually be pretty hard to analyse, let alone the time it would take to compute all the possible pasts.'He who knows the past, knows the future.', isn't that what they are saying?
