I'd choose Cash 5 then Pick 4. I like the ability to get twice as many tickets by using 50 cents or four times as many with 25 cents. The only thing I don't like about the Virginia game is that the jackpot doesn't increase if the top prize is unclaimed. A good lottery state would have a good selection of games where the top prize varies from $ 1000, $ 5000, $ 10,000, $ 50,000, $ 100,000, $ 250,000, $ 500,000, $ 1 million and up. Pennsylvania and Maryland seem to have a decent number of games

Makes sense.... the only people it works for are those who happen to increase their holdings while they have one. Everyone else, nada.... except the ones who slip through the cracks by having a medicine bag, rabbits foot, shamrock, or just a stroke of lightningstrike nightmarish uncalled for and unwanted luck.I don't have an 8 in my wallet.... got all manner of other things weighing down my person, but I haven't tried that one. Lousiana Lottery "Lotta Lotto" promotion
From July 1-31, the Louisiana Lottery will be offering a special deal on Lotto tickets. They will sell 5 Lotto picks for the price of 4 for a single drawing. If you are interested in Lottery Systems the only 3 developers I would recommend are Mr.z , One To Won and Steve Player anyone else is probably a waste of time.I have purchased from these system developers in the past and was completely satisfied,I buy there systems for ideas in developing my own number selection methods.If your interested I can recommend a system from them that would help increase your chances in the games.

I believe it is because in addition to the new players in california the odds have increased a bit and it would appear that to the folks the reporter interviewed they think they will win less often then before the odds change.They could play other games provided by the georgia lottery if they wanted to increase their options of winning smaller amounts of cash. I on the other hand will play mega for the jackpot and any other winnings in the near term are gravy!

Doc,Don't know the source of your Calif. sales info, but I believe the data at the lotto report website showing an increase in sales is accurate.The Calif prizes are paramutual, whereas prizes in other 11 states are guaranteed. The 5/5 winner in the first draw got more than $250,000. The one 5/5 winner in the second drawing got less than $250,000.

I agree, and I do play both just like CT, I play Powerball and CT state lotto. Although it's a low jackpot, CT lottery odds are pretty decent when compared to other lotteries. Play both or as many as you can with a reasonable amount of money sounds like the best way to increase one's individual odds. LOL.
