Powerball 180 million
I suspect now that the PB jackpot is close to $200M, more office pools will be participating, more tickets will be sold and as a result a there will be an even bigger jump in sales. With thirty-one 5+0 hits during the last drawing, I'm surprised there was still a roll over, it gets more unlikely as the jackpot continues to increase.

I've seen a series of posts within 15 minutes by the same person in the same thread. Since a post can be edited, changed or added to up to 15 minutes after its creation, the only reason to do that is to increase the number of posts.RJOh

If no double, 80 best boxes - GA mid 5/18
Sorry, folks, a miss that time. That was only the fifth time in tracking the last 403 GA singles that the particular primary filter I was using has gone 4 skips without a hit, and it's never gone 5 skips (tracking singles hits only). So, for those who can afford to increase their bets, or for those who sat out today's game entirely, I'll do the recalculations for tonight's draw, and have them up within an hour........ hopefully with much better results tonight.

Lottery officials forsee $500 million Mega Millions jackpots
Powerball needs Florida more than Mega Millions does. Especially since Powerball is increasing their matrix as well, they need more states to support higher rollovers. It is totally bogus to increase the matrix without higher rollovers to compensate for it.

response from question...G.H. systems..
I got this response from GH's company on 4/29/05We will have a new file set up after the first drawing andwill probably extend the existing file to accept the 4 additionalnumbers as well. If you don't want to wait for the changed file, thesteps to increase the settings in the old history are on our web siteand would only take a about 20 keystrokes to make the change.

mega millions poll
I'll go out on a limb and say on average it'll hit in excess of $300,000,000 once a year. I'm hoping that instead of taking around eleven draws for mega millions to get interesting. The new matrix and player increase change the $100,000,000 barrier to say 6 to 8 draws. Granted I wouldn't turn down a $500,000,000 jackpot. I'd still be as interested in a $100,000,000 jackpot say at least four or five times a year!

Mega Millions to change lottery game's game and prize structure

Mega Millions to change lottery game's game and prize structure
Just a guess ..but I think the mega will out perform the pb and that dventually they will merge. Before that happens the mega will increase the gold ball to 52 or 56...mostly because the jackpots will be won quicker than they thought...but that is just a guess...or is it??? lol

TN LOTTO 5...650,000...4/29/05
Lottomike, it depends. I've noticed if two numbers are next to each other for example 4 and 5 tonight, it has a better chance of rollingover. I think it will be hit next week. First of the month is coming and I expect a huge increase in ticket sales for Monday's drawing because powerball too is higher than it has been for a while. If not hit on Monday, Wednesday it will be hit.

Powerball is $54 million
This jackpot run I have noticed that powerball has been short of estimated jackpot their sales must be down. Now that mega millions was hit powerball should get an increase in sales. Hopefully a bigger rollover.
