I don't know, I believe that something small affects everything. In this case this person opting out of the drawing affected the time the lottery pool leader was at the store to get tickets. The action of opting out may have caused many other actions throughout the day, thus definitely giving different numbers when the clerk hit the QP button. I do not run a lotto pool for profit. Lotto pools are not only perfectly legal but every single lottery jurisdiction in the US and Canada promote lotto pools and give free advice and forms to help people organize lotto pools. A large percentage of lottery jackpots are won by lotto pools. But I have yet to find one case where a butler service won and paid a jackpot. I have done the research and found nothing.
