Tesla
To backtrack slightly, in May 1885, George Westinghouse purchased the patents to his induction motor, his polyphase system of alternating-current dynamos, transformers and motors and made this the basis of the Westinghouse power system which still underlies the modern electrical power industry today. When Westinghouse found that they could not stay in business if they paid him his due of Twelve Million Dollars, Tesla tore up the contract. Tesla did this, quite simply, so people could have the be

rudy shilli system for lotto wins!
tntea:
I agree with your assessment of the situation. But this thread has provided me with more laughs than I can describe.
As I said earlier aint no free lunches and everyone has an angle. As for this player contract and the 50/50 split, beware of Greeks bearing gifts.
Let me tell you how it will really come out. One of these guys one day will hit and Rudi will try to collect his 50%. Then the client will take the contract to a lawyer. The lawyer will find a loophole or attempt to

Local lottery chats
The only lottery club I will ever get into is one where there is a maximum of 3 other people, and all contribute between $10 and $20 per drawing. Any more people than that and it's not worth it to me, any less dollars than that, same thing.
And I'd also have a written contract for all of us. And I call all of the shots.

New Mexico lottery spends the most on administrative costs
Like many other articles, not particularly well researched.
I used to manage this contract (on the vendor side) so I feel competent to comment.
First - the Lottery did have a big problem with expenses at first. Sales were way under what was projected and the place was top heavy and inefficient. They have since raised their prize payouts, lowered some internal costs (as well as vendor fees) and sales are about 75% higher now than they were then.
It's true they pay GTECH ov

Yes, DD, I was thinking about that too. I think they are cool. On a selfish note, I'll have DSL next week so my pages are going to load faster and graphics won't have as much of an effect. I had no choice since I'm doing a little work from home and nobody would even consider me without DSL or cable. Starting out with 1.5mbps for $24.95 which is part of a phone service bundle with Sprint (now Embarq) Cable is a little too expensive ($45.99 plus tax) in my neighborhood. Wish there was more co

How a lottery win tore a family apart
seems to me that the sister got ripped off at the original time of the win. she should have fought that in court str8 away. getting 600k for a house later it could be seen by her as recompense, with the half mill she initially got.
as they say a verbal contract is as good as the paper its written on.

what would happen if...............
Pac,
Actually, I have now taken control of all aspects of this site. I no longer contract with any outside companies for anything, including results and jackpots.

Why It Is Important to Remain Anonymous.
Rundown:
Seems to me it's good advice you're offering, whether the jackpot is large or small. There are dozens of side-issues involved on a jackpot (or significant tier-win) going outside the boundaries a person would normally think of.
Letting people know your business, particularly financially, but on just about anything at all, doesn't serve any useful purpose most of the time. I've encountered it on such things as mining claims (which are supposed to protect the claim-holder) and fou

Another dream
Alligator
Someone around you does not have your best interests at heart and it might be someone whom you feel you can trust. Consider other symbols in the dream to discern how or who. Be very cautious in business ventures of any sort. Consult an attorney before signing any contract or agreement.

Mega Millions Jackpot Winner Still Unknown
I am convinced, the date of the actual transfer doesn't matter. I firmly believe I can use the publicity to get an advance from any bank in America! One hundred million dollars may not be their biggest deposit, but it would get their attention. A couple of million advance, with a signed contract to let them manage my money. Knowing the greed of the banking industry, they will be willing to negotiate! That sould take about an hour - then I get into my Shadow costume and slink away into the d
