SC's new Mega-6
I didn't see this one earlier, so I'm just closing the loop. MegaMatch 6 was added to the SC Lottery Results page the week tickets for MegaMatch 6 went on sale. Also, it was listed in the Event Calendar a couple weeks before the game launched. For future new games (and changing games), please send this kind of suggestion to the Event Calendar Suggestions form. (You can also navigate to that suggestion form by going to the contact page and navigating through the make a suggestio

Congrats to the New York Giants
Wow so many Patriot haters. Giants defense played great. But seeing a team go 19 and 0 is a history making event. More than likely the Giants will only be a one hit wonder like Pittsburg and Indy. Next year announcers will say the Patriots and Brady won 3 out of 4 superbowls.

Thank you. It will look even better when it is filled. Plus, there are going to be some neat things I can do outside of the calendar once I start tracking event dates.

Bank details of lottery winners found by road
It is a rare event but it can happen..Lucky the person who found it did the right thing and notified...I was thinking to myself something like... what if a bag of money fell out an armored truck what would you do?

Lottery programs and never a Pick 5
Yeah, a half-million bucks (or even a million) before taxes, just isn't the life-changing event it used to be. It's nice, and it would, like you say, pay off some bills. But you can't retire on it, and it just makes things a bit easier for the person if they play it right. Therefore, its not much of a story from the media's standpoint.

Randomness of the lottery
Lotterologist Remember, there are people who can see into the future(psychics, prophets, e.t.c). Consider that when pondering the randomness of the lottery. I've known people who could dream a 3 or 4 digit combination and shortly afterwards, it would fall. If the lottery was truly random, how could they dream what the winning combination would be? Does that necessarily cancel out the event being random, or just tell us that these people had a vision of the results of a random event

Sums on White Balls in PB
Not necessarily. If the 10 sums that occur most frequently were filtered out, 422,948 combinations would be eliminated, just over 11% of the total possibilities. On the other hand, if the 10 sums that occur least frequently were eliminated, then only 24 combinations would be filtered out. In any event this might be effective when used with other filters, but not as a standalone.

Powerball Sums
Great info everybody! I like using sums (no Pball or Mega ball included) along with decade patterns. The power and mega balls are a separate event.

Fl Pick 3 10/01 - 10/31 2007
Blackie, Here's a post that Thoth made in the Mathamatics Forum about that stat. He's has several very interesting posts on LP. YOUR WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY With a chance so close to 13%, you might be tempted to start looking for average skips or expected frequencies to happen within certain time frames. Forget all of that. The best window for playing this event is over the course of the next 5 games after its last hit! Since the true overall chance for the event to occur is 12.961%,
