As I understand it, the Megaplier, and Powerplay, dollars go entirely to the state. They don't send 35, or whatever it is, percent to the central collection point for the jackpot pool. I've seen information online suggesting that the multiplier dollars are more profitable than the game dollars. However, you can't play Megaplier without playing Mega Millions, and you can't play Powerplay without playing Powerball. When I was browsing YouTube the other day for lottery videos I saw one where a guy runs a very large lottery pool and for the December 26th drawing last year they spent $842. The guy who did win that jackpot only spent $6 (or $3 if you don't count the purchase of the 3 additional tickets). Just goes to show it really is luck and not how much you throw into the game. Congrats on your win Increase . It's strange Increase, I play in a pool at work of about 18 people or so and I'm always asked will I still work if we ever hit. It's a hard question because there would be no need to continue working if we hit a 300 mil win , but then I think, I kind of like my job so it would be hard to give it up. Anyway, in the meantime lets get some smaller than 300 mil wins in !!!

Easy, ask all the members if they want to purchase extra numbers for Louisiana Lotto drawing 01-01-11 or wait for the next drawing since you already have numbers for that drawing. And let the majority of the yes or no's rule. Since you are running the pool it is your responsibilit to bring this up so that there is no mistrust among you. You never know what a person is thinking or what would raise their suspicions. Especially when you are dealing with their money. Hope this helps.
