Will gamble on lottery revenue pay off for N.C.?
Not sure about the payout percentages when many of the prizes are a free ticket that does not cost the state a dollar to give as a prize.I find it troubling when a state works against it's citizens. A properly run lottery should be a way to redistribute wealth, raise up people who have no other way of improving their lot in life and keep the lid on the garbage can by keeping hope alive.A couple of lottery tickets can help people get through a bad week with the hope the lottery will solve all th

How high will Powerball get this run?
If you can't get to a PB state until October, but want to play PB before then, you might be interested in Prime Ticket Service - www.primeticketservice.com . Todd has checked them out - see www.lotterypost.com/thread/118824.htm .I've bought both PB and MM tickets from them, and I'm very satisfied with their service. Just wish I could pick the winning numbers!Anyway, the nearest PB state (TN) is over an hour and a half drive from where I live, and given the cost of gasoline these days (round tr

Location plays a part in lottery luck
A British expert on the psychology of luck found that although Lotto tickets bought in Skibbereen were slightly more successful than those bought in Dublin the difference was very small and not statistically significant. But Pierce Hickey from Pierce Hickey s Newsagents said: Scientists can look at a situation any way they like. I think it is down to luck that a shop has five jackpots. And if you compare Skibbereen s jackpot wins with Dublin s, you will find that per head of population we are a

Keno System that really works
Hi All,Thank you for reading and replying to this Forum.First I d like to clarify something: As I expected, there are a couple of Junk Comments that I'm just gonna ignore. And I will only reply to comments that have some decency in them. Skeptics are welcome when they adopt civil approaches. To RJoh: After many years of studying lottery Games (especially the ones that offer Million dollar Jackpots) I concluded that you would need to team up UFO s or the Devil to crack their code. It s just log

Texas Lottery critic applies for Director position
I believe Dawn has good intentions. If I was in her position I would do the same. But I have my doubts. Her good player intentions though I think will get her into trouble. It would be very interesting to see the TLC elect someone that has given them so much grief. I will applaud the TLC if they choose her for the passion that they will show that they want to make things better. But hopefully she will understand that larger jackpots are needed. They mean more ticket sales and more money f

$200 Million lottery jackpot has Mega Millions players' attention
Didn't some one recently post information about the IRS and Annuity payments; where, if you die, the IRS wants all the tax money in one big lump? That part would make me leary about Annuity, especially on jackpots of the current size. That would be setting up a situation of paying the IRS and state a lump sum, and then the family still paying annually. With lump sum, of say $100M, I am sure I could find adequate help to manage the finances, with minimum imput from me. There are a few people I ha

Mega Millions Predictions
In answer to the original question of the thread, I believe PB and MM will certainly be 'cracked', maybe by someone here. It mightn't be a cracking that will work frequently, but it wouldn't have to be. A person doesn't have to win that many jackpots in a lifetime.A system that is able to allow a person to pick once in a couple of years of play is a good system when that kind of odds and money are involved. Which isn't to suggest anyone's been doing well on the MM and PB challenges of late. B

Powerball Lottery Jackpot Jumps to $53 Million
Attention Powerball Players:We receive many calls to help the hurricane victims. Profits from the Powerball game go to the 29 states that sell the game and these states are helping. You can help too. Powerball shows that just a dollar can turn into something big. Go to: American Red Cross. (From their website.)Looks like the PB management team has perfected the pass the buck concept. I'm sure, that if their bonuses had been higher last year, because of fewer jackpots, the management team would h

Lotto Buster
Most lotteries are WON from quick-picks because most of your average lottery players use quick-picks the players that use systems, software and strategies are the minority therefore there wins won't account for most of the jackpots won.Don't knock LottoBuster just because you haven't won with it it's a VERY good program when used properly. If your using the automatic picks then your wasting your time but if you use the wealth of information obtained from the various analysis charts and f
