Applications of Faraday cages to lotteries is an interesting topic, even if this thread was started by our resident beau-zeau. I wonder if any state lottery drawing facilities use Faraday cages around their drawing equipment or the servers that store all their data. Would Faraday cages provide any significant increase in security?

Actually, the F5 jackpot I won eight years ago https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/216513/3501105 was by using Gail Howard's odd/even bias tracker, and only that. The bias was odd +17. So I wheeled thirteen of the eighteen even numbers, played forty-eight lines two days in a row (the bias held after one drawing) and got very lucky in the second drawing...

Almost forgot this: Last nights drawing was the sixth consecutive day of at least one repeating number from the previous drawing having been drawn. I would not think there will be a seventh day of repeating numbers tonight. If there is a repeater tonight, then there wont be an eighth day. G 5

The Daytime drawing needs to be a live drawing. I spoke to a representative concerning this and I was informed that this saves money. Well, how much money is being spent on advertising for scratch-off tickets on television which is nonsense?

I just read through your post again and I think I understand it now. That's by design. When displaying the results for a date, the midday drawing(s) will always be shown before the evening drawing(s), even when the dates are listed in reverse order. That is a consistency that you will find on every page that shows lottery results. (On the current/old site there were some pages that were not consistent, but the new site is careful to be consistent.)

The last times July 29th fell on a MM drawing day were back in 2016, 2014, and 2011. You can go to usamega.com to see what numbers came out those dates. That site goes all the way back to the first MM drawing. The only thing is, MM format last changed in October 2017.

Hopefully you play every drawing no matter how much the jackpot is. This obsession with only playing it when it is over 400m is ludicrous. How many times does that happen. Once or twice a year. How many years do you have left. If you are a lottery player not that many. Play every drawing and every one of your state lotteries also. Don't go crazy but cover them.

Your premise is incorrect. In Pick 3, there is a 60.751% chance that at least one digit is a repeat from from the previous drawing, and a 39.249% chance that no digit is repeated from the previous drawing. (These are exact theoretical probabilities. If you are looking historical data from a lottery, there will be some variance due to random chance.)
